    Can I use my factory platinum fob with tech12volts or do I need to buy 2 way remotes? I’m looking hard at it for the $199 price. Anyone get the lifetime warranty or my car?

    I think the confusion is the $199 is for a different Gen then the 2018/19

    The price was really good, plus fully plug and play not one thing to splice. The warranty is also great 3 years from date of purchase. You can add extended range remotes, Phone App as extra add on items.

    This company also sold for $40 a plug and play Tail Gate harness so that when you double tap the unlock it unlocks the tailgate too and locks with all doors

    Tech12volts is total plug play but you have to buy an additional harness for $50. So at $299 with lifetime warranty he not bad either. What brand is accessorides? Fortnin is the tech12volts and 12volt.solutions.com

    Not sure I didn't ask and they do not advertise it, but for the price if it last 3 years likely will last 3 more and then you will either have a new truck or will have gotten your moneys worth. Just my 2 cents

    Hello everyone,

    I am a new owner of a used 2018 Tundra Crew Max. Other than the gas mileage, I love the truck. I just ordered the Tech12Volts kit and will be installing it next week (assuming it comes in time). This is the one I ordered with no other options. It's parked in the driveway so I just want to remote start it without having to got outside first. I'll give my feedback of the install and experience afterwards.
