I have to figure out another place to wire my Raptor leds, as of now they only come on with the headlights. I think I might just wire them in with the headlight LEDs, couldn't carry too much power.

Wes, so how did you wire it all up ... as per Leo's instructions? and if so, when do your turnsignal/DRL light up?

Yeah, I just followed his diagram. Was pretty straight forward. I left my factory DRL turn signal, and didn't do the switch back. I might do it later, but we'll see. The retro LEDs come on as soon as the truck is on for DRLs and stay on.

So let me see if I understand your set up ...

first picture ... nothing on or running.
second picture ... parking lights on, is the truck running since no amber DRL lights on (no head lamps on)
third picture ... everything on including your fogs and raptors

Did you hook up the strips/shrouds as switchbacks? Also, kind of hard to see by the picture ... how well does the strips and headlights match? Looks pretty close though. What Kelvin are your bulbs?

Just ran them to a headlights one now, so only come on when headlights are on. I'll have to figure it out for all time. Might just cut and splice all LEDs together.

Got my grille painted last week, just took the pic today. After installing the TRD rear sway bar. Retros should be in late next week. I used bed armor on the grille.

What kind of black paint did you go for the reflectors bowls flat, matte, satin or gloss?

Output is crazy. Got my first chance to use them on the back road home last night. Low beams are very bright and I like that they reach way out to the side. High beam is insane!

I definitely should have waited it out but I was antsy. It was already a week late in the mail and it was pretty chilly outside along with the wind. I definitely under-estimated how long it would be. Thanks man.

Had my 2nd (free) oil change at 10k. I asked 'em to turn the seat chimes off and they did! What was even more surprising was they didn't charge me for it. That's the X-mas spirit.

Had my dealer turn it off on my 08 awhile back as well. Didn't hassle me or anything, but I guess it helps that i live in a rural area.

I told 'em how I live on a private rd and when I stop at the bottom of the hill to pick up mail or the garbage cans I don't wanna put the belt on to drive 1,000 ft. . I also told 'em that I learned to put the toilet seat down w/o an annoying chime.

What's the secret? I need a toilet seat chime. My wife yells at me to put the seat back down, mid-stream, and I still forget.

Got my camper shell installed finally (SnugTop XV), now my dogs finally have their mobile suite complete. I'm not pleased with the company that installed it, but the shell its self seems nice so far. Any tips on cleaning between the cab and shell? I'm thinking about using the windex glass cleaner you attach to a hose.

A little of this and a little of that.
Saturday the 17th of December I went out to my dad's place to fabricate a custom Bull Bar. We cut angles all morning, welded, & grinded smooth all the slag and excess weld.

Then on the 19th I went back out to finish the Bull Bar with more grinding, glazing compound and paint. I decided I didn't like the middle bar that runs horizontally across the Bull Bar so we replaced it with a bigger size piece.

After that we installed it on my truck.

Now there are some touch-up's to do but it's almost finished. And I have to get all the lights to put on the Bull Bar.
