    Hey Everyone.
I'm in desperate need of some extra storage. Who has a Decked system or an Aerobox. I'm starting to lean towards the Aerobox because I can pull it in and out when I need the extra space of a full bed. Any input would be very appreciated.

I have a Decked system and love it. Can still use my bed just a slight loss in height. I love how my tools stay locked up and secure.

The aerobox looks like a $500 2x6 that keeps your bags from sliding up in the bed. I don’t see the point of at all.

It kind of depends on how much storage you need and what you plan to keep in it. I've only seen one Aerobox and have installed about a dozen Decked systems. The Aerobox won't give you the storage space of the decked box and if IIRC it's not lockable however it will be easier to remove if you need. And it's half the price. The Decked will give you more storage and the drawers are lockable. It's more involved but isn't overly difficult to remove. One drawback is that the drawers only open 60% so you'll have a reach to get at anything in the front of the drawer.

I had the decked system for about a month It has a lot of secure storage no doubt. Just be sure you can do without the bed space (depth) that was my reason for selling the system.

I made one using some old half inch plexi glass and some 1x's. Two separate drawers. One with spacers for tools etc. the other is open for longer items like an axe, fishing rods etc. Obviously not lockable but with the locking tailgate, no one is going to be able to lift it up and out of there.

Im storing a bunch of fly fishing gear and some work equipment.

Has to be secure otherwise I would just put it in a storage bin. Some of my gear, rods and reels are expensive.

My last truck was a Ridgeline so I was able to store all of my rod tubes under the seat and my gear in the in bed trunk. I drive a lot for my job and like to have my gear available for when I end up near a stream I can fish after work.

I need the bed room to transport a few dirt bikes around every so often.
I also mountain bike a few times a week with my son so I need some bed storage for the bikes.

Absolutely love my @DECKEDUSA storage system. Looked into some other options when I still had my tonneau cover but went with the decked drawers and happy I did. If I really want to i can remove the drawers and the rack and go back to just bed mode without to much effort. 20191012_135616.jpg

Alone, I can remove my decked system in under thirty minutes. That isn’t rushed. That’s with hand tools and getting the wife to help me lift both halves out when you get to that step. You can leave one half in if you want also.

Longer list than the wife needs to know about....
    +1 for Decked.
I can attest to their customer service, and the product is amazing. I like being able to lock the boxes and the tailgate. If someone wants to steal anything out of it it'll take them some time.
The only drawback as mentioned is you lose some height which has only been a problem for me when loading motorcycles by myself, everything else can just be set on top of the decked without issue.

Decked is good but you lose a lot of bed space and height.

Had a Decked. Loved the Decked. Sold the Decked.

Issues for me were the system is heavy, but more importantly the ergo for lifting things into the bed was all off. You can’t just drop stuff onto the tailgate and push it in. Reaching over the tailgate and holding things high enough to clear it was painful
