I ordered my 2020 Tundra TRD Sports Premium (RED) on 20th Sep and got ETA of 18th Oct, when i went to check on them on 18th oct then they changed the ETA to 8th NOV. They said that some inspection sticker need to be given from Canadian govt on border that delayed my delivery. Which to me sounds like a BIGGGGG FUUUCCCKIINNNGGG LIEEEE. But still i kept my patience and asked them when i will get it? then they gave me another date of 8th Nov. So, today i went again and i asked about it. he made a call to his sales rap in Vancouver and said that they got the sticker its just they are waiting for the truck to be loaded on the transport company and it should be here in couple of weeks. then i asked him to show the status on his computer. He showed me and I saw the next ETA which is NOV 20th. but he assured me that it would be here before than that. I am seriously very pissed at this moment. I asked him on first day that Even if it takes one year please just be honest with me. I don't know what to do now.?

Sometimes i am thinking to but it from BC or somewhere else but then i wonder that what if they will play the same game with me as my current dealership is playing with me. Seriously nobody is telling truth.

Glad you finally have something solid. Are you keeping the TRD wheels to use for winters? Or possibly sell

My third delivery date was November 3-5. It's the 6th. I was never patient to begin with. :annoyed:

EDIT: Now my fourth delivery date is November 17-19. Needless to say I'm about to blow up.

They get your down payment and signature then they don't have to care after that. My wife's car will be coming due for a replacement soon as well. I've always had good luck with Hondas. Just sayin...

When you make a deposit there is an agreement of delivery. If a deal was made but broken at one end (delivery date) then the agreement is null and void, right?

    Well, in Canada:

    Delivery of goods
Under the Consumer Protection Act, when you order a product, it must be delivered within 30 days of the promised delivery date or you can ask for a refund. However, if you choose to keep the item that was delivered late, you lose your right to get a refund for it.

Bottom line is that toyota doesn't care what you think. I still want the truck myself and I'm sure I'll get over it but won't be singing their praises. If this wasn't the only full-size truck outside of the crappy domestic, I'd be thinking differently. toyota obviously knows it.

No since its been more than 2 months and they are not disclosing anything by themselves, i chose to go out of province with another dealer who is delivering my truck in next Thursday. so in that case i should go back to my previous dealer and can ask for the refund. although he told me that won't be refunded once i deposited it in the beginning.

So long as the date on the contract is more than 30 days late, you can point them to the law on that. What i don't know is what the legal mechanism is to enforce it if they don't do it. Hiring a layer will cost more than your G

My Dealer said when I put my deposit down in July that even if I decided to not buy the Truck after it was delivered I would get my $1000 deposit back.

Glad Jeff could help you out...I was just talking to him on how my accessories install was going and he said he found you a Barcelona Red and already has it on the lot for you...Jeff is a no BS guy he kept me in the loop all during the Toyota hold on my Truck.

yeah! he is the best and fast sales man i have ever seen in Canada. 90 % i am going to buy from him. its just I don't want to be rude to my local dealer and want to give him one last chance which i know he won't be able to fulfill it again.

:sorry: Readylift keeps the stock Fox Coilovers and Shocks...so ride quality is the same as stock.

I work for Toyota. Cars and trucks hit stuck in what we call freight inspection. It’s most likely something they found on the vehicles that they are fixing before it becomes a recall. Most likely something super easy and stupid

I "ordered" my SR5 on November 16th and was told it would take between 10 days and 3 months to arrive. The salesman apparently didn't know if it was coming from another dealership or from the factory. They had one on the lot but it wasn't the colour I wanted.

I texted him yesterday to check on the status and he said it should be in on December 21st (or maybe the 26th, he wasn't very clear).

Got mine 5 days ago now. On the day I was picking it up I said 1pm as I wanted to put on the tonneau cover before I took my kids to hockey. I took the afternoon off work. Went home and grabbed lunch and I was about to open the car door and the phone rings. Yup, it’s the douchbags from the dealer telling me the tailgate remote lock just came in and they needed a few more hours to install it. The truck was ordered mid September. It’s not like the stupid f@&ks didn’t have enough time to get the part in.

they have a perfect record of fail.
