I've used everything from .22LR all the way up to .50BMG on gophers. With the .50, you don't shoot the gopher. You shoot the ground in front of him. :D:infantry:

Got home from our hunting trip yesterday at 4:40AM. Woke up, packed up, and burned some gas.

Our group got one bison of the two we were allowed, and I was in range of a legal 5x6 elk, he’s still wandering the hills thanks to an iffy shot opportunity.

Pretty good trip overall. Quad trailer worked like a champ, one young bull bison was an easy load.

Awesome! I didn’t realize bison are an option. Very cool. Good work on the heavy duty trailer! Oh, and smart hunter not taking a risky shot! I’m proud of you haha

Well boys and girls, winter has finally decided to put in a solid appearance today. Wet, ugly snow falling and it's slicker than goose shit out there right now. Thank God for studded tires.

    Nice! Yay temperarure swings!

"Winter storm warning" in effect herr and daytime highs below zero all week. I think we stuck into this mess now.

    I really need a snowblower...

Supposed to snow all day tomorrow. The truck is parked in the garage tonight. I think this is the first time any vehicle I've ever owned has gotten the garage treatment. Must be a special truck. :D

:) glad you are sir :hattip:. Should see the kids when I’m dropping the kids off at school. It’s awesome. Moms are like “why the hell do I have to stand beside this piece of shit while my toddler drools at it”. It’s fun haha

-17 here, feels like -24 with wind chill.

It was like 0 or -3 yesterday when I was walking the dog. What a difference.

Big shop and two trucks outside in the freezing cold. Wtf. I should have moved squarebody while I had the chance. Last year it froze to the ground, this year at least I blocked the suspension at ride height so it has mobility. So at least I’m net positive of where I was last year this time. I want a shop for working in and a shop for parking vehicles in haha. I’m spoiled ROTTEN.
Weird rant about berta winter I guess. Peace.

At least you have a nice big shop. I'm jealous. LOL We only have a 22x24ft, 2 car attached garage. I managed to squeeze both my truck and The Woman's Corolla in. Gonna be interesting deciding who gets to park inside when we buy a boat that has to stay in the garage.

Our dream house would have a 2.5 bay garage for our vehicles, a 3rd bay that's a little longer to put a boat in and a big ass detached shop for working on stuff, preferably with a vehicle hoist. Someday I'll win the lottery. :D

I wish i had a garage or shop!
I currently dont have either. We have an 1880s century brick home which wasnt built with vehicles in mind. Lots of yard space so one could be added. We plan to flip this though so it may be in the next houses cards. Its a must have. Priority would be given to being a woodshop but all tools would be built into rolling benches so i could bring our vehicles in when needed. That way i wouldnt have to do my wifes brake job and both our tire swaps next weekend outside in -12 and 6 inches of snow.
I always have projects and im tired of working in the driveway! :annoyed:

Thanks! Picked it up just last Friday actually.
The only reason I got it was cause someone rear ended me on my blue one and bend the frame pretty good.

I took off almost all the mods I had on the blue one that will be going on this pro.
