Look up CementTurdOffRoad. He put different wheels on, but did a 275/70R18 on stock suspension. It sold me on that size as well. You'll have to find some of his older picks, because he recently upgraded the suspension a bit.

I’ll be going to 35’s though and a new suspension. To me they look a bit too small even on stock suspension. (That’s what she said)

Ya I have a 2018 tundra. Will I have a problem lifting it and getting it aligned right ? If I run 6112 at 1.9 setting with driver side shim and 5160 in the rear with +2 shackle and 285/70/18 nitto ridge grappler and 18 inch wheel with +25 offset ?

These trucks are all pretty individual. Some guys struggle to get them aligned, others don't. IIRC it's usually been a tire issue, though.

I’m just stuck and worried about if I do lift my truck. I’ll have a problem with them alignment my truck. I don’t wanna spend $4,000 and then my truck is messed up.

I hear you. I would advise you to talk to some locals that have lifted trucks, and ask where they had it done. Get a feel for the local "experts" and ask their advice. I assume that you will have it aligned elsewhere, so raise these concerns with any place you would consider having the alignment done.

All the stuff you are describing is bolt on. I would read through as many threads here as possible searching your setup. I’m new to this and had the same worries. At the end of the day, do what you can afford and think you will make you happy. Worst case scenario you have to return it to stock and sell the gear second hand at a loss. If you can’t afford that (no offense) don’t do it. That’s just the way I think about it, I’m no expert

Thanks for the info. I’ve always been the guy that lifts my trucks. And I heard these trucks are finicky to lift. And now I’m just stuck between if I should or not.

Caution is good, paralysis is not. Go check out some of the builds on this forum. I don't think lifts would be as popular if the trucks were prone to issues when lifted. Plus, you don't have the TSS to fight with on a 2018. You're money ahead at that point. lol

Yes I have the tss Toyota safety sense. I have all that. So that’s not a good.

I have researched for months and months. Knowing me I’ll have the issue when I do lift my truck. So I’m just thinking about what I should do. I don’t want a stock struck..

Are you in a rush for this? If not, start with a set of bigger tires, like the 275/70R18 and see how you like it. I originally thought I was going to want a lift, but since seeing @CementTurdOffRoad truck I have changed my mind. Just the bigger tires will get me a wee bit more clearance, and save loads of money. Try it out. If after some time you don't think it's enough, move toward the lift. You're not on anyone's schedule but your own.

I know. But I see all these guys on the tundra forum with 2018 and 2019 tundras with 2 inch of lift and more with no problems. So if I do this I think I’ll be good to go. Plus last month I just had my tss recall fixed and computer software update. I should be ok now.
