Hello from Raleigh NC. As my user name implies, I am a former Tacoma owner that just purchased a new to me 2018 Tundra Crewmax in Limited TRD OffRoad trim. Loving the extra torque and ride of the Tundra. It is bone stock, so I will not bother with a picture yet.

I have been soaking in all of the knowledge of this forum for the past few weeks, and have been *very* bummed that I did not get in on the DirtyDeeds group buy!!!! That was a killer deal!

I had to sell my Tacoma before the CFO would approve any Tundra mods, but now the Tacoma is sold and it is time to make this Tundra mine! These are the directions I am heading, roughly in this order. I see a lot of great posts already out there, but comments are appreciated.

Exhaust: I think the DirtyDeeds 8" singe is what I am leaning towards. This truck will see mostly highway miles. I do tow a 4,000# boat trailer, but the lake we hit is less than an hour away. We have a 2003 Mustang Cobra, and 2011 Roush Mustang, so we can tolerate some exhaust noise. How often are there deals or group buys?

Chrome Deletes: We got the Limited trim for the creature comforts of the interior. We want the outside to have attitude though. I am debating between black and painted MGM for the door handles, mirrors and bumper ends. Vinyl wrap looks like a P.I.T.A, but am open to hearing about the process. If I can convince the CFO, I really want black steel front and rear bumpers, but that will probably have to wait...

Grille swap: Leaning towards the Platinum grille done with MGM painted surround and hood bulge. I don't want to screw up anything with the current radar sensor in the Limited grille, and this looks the easiest even though I like the TRD Pro look a little better.

Step Rails: Digging the look of N-Fab Black Epyx

DS Oh S**t Handle: Wife needing help at stock height, and planning on going higher in the future. Was very happy to see this is an option.

Toneneau Cover: Anyone running a folding system that has a storage bin back towards the cab that can offer opinions? I need something that can be completely removed so I can haul mulch. Want something that can be locked so my stuff will not walk off in a tailgating situation.

Lift / Wheels & Tires: Thinking 3-4" will the main goals of more aggressive stance and using components that will keep or improve the on-road feel of the truck. Looking for recommendations for 4x4 shops in central NC. What are people running for spedo calibration boxes? I am only seeing one from Hypertech that in pictures looks like a like something that goes in-line to the ECU?

Storage: I see I am not the only one that has a pile of straps, jumper cables and tools that all used to be stowed away in their Tacoma, but has no place in the monster CM cab. It is mind blowing... I am still looking at options for making the center console more usable, and putting storage bins under the rear seat. For now, ratchet straps in one rear door pocket, tow strap in the other door pocket, and a mess of jumper cables and tools under the seat.

Floor Mats: +1 for the WatherTech floor mats being horrible in the CrewMax, especially the passenger side because they are not anchored. I want carpet and 100 coverage in the back seat. Looking at the Lund "Catch-It" mats and curios if anyone has them installed.

I guess I should shut up now. There is probably 20 threads up there, but at least this has been therapy for me trying to get over missing the DirtyDeeds group buy.

Look's like you're going to want the ESP Underseat storage mod for the Crewmax. I don't have one personally, but I believe all the guys that did it love theirs.
