3/4 through this thread and thinking I want a cap. So many decisions, plus these things are not cheap.

Question on the Bedrug. Website says "Removes quickly for cleaning between the liner and the box", but it looks like the bed cargo rails are bolted on over the Bedrug. Am I seeing that correctly?

I had the Bedrug trimmed around the bed rails, so the rails just bolt back against the bed sheet metal. I have seen some that bolt the rails on top of the rug. In fact the rug actually has trim lines indicated on the back side where to cut or trim them. It will come out without unbolting anything this way, just release from all of the Velcro strips that hold it in place. The Bedrugs are really nice if you are crawling around in the bed. It's saved my knees several times already this weekend.

I don’t remember, but can figure it out.
I suggest that you do what I did. Get on their website and build your camper with the options you want, then go to your local dealer and negotiate the best price. You may get more.... or less, depending on their response.

Yep, within limits. Depends on how many dealers are in the proximity and how motivated

Anyone with a Snugtop GB Sport shell? I've seen a couple on Tacomas and they look awesome but very few pics of the Tundra version. Regardless, I ordered one up last week from Discount Campers in Long Beach. I believe Snugtop is there as well. They beat everyone's price here in San Diego by $400 or more. I was gonna go with a new version Leitner but went with the security of a shell. Can't wait to get it installed. :bananadance:

Here is a pic off the Snugtop website.

Good to know. There are a couple of Snugtop dealers within driving distance, but far away enough from each other that they probably don't worry about each other. Kinda the same with A.R.E.
Unfortunately the A.R.E. one I wanted can't give me the drop down back window AND the ability to hold a RTT. I'm gonna trek to the Snugtop dealer next week and talk to them.
