I got it for my birthday yesterday. My wife called it a "placesetter" amount this morning, so I have some leeway. I can use it now or wait til Black Friday/Christmas and get something bigger. I have a year. What should I get?

No lift or sliders because of the underground parking garage at my office.

I bought KO2s last winter and like the stock rims with the Pro center caps. I'm at a happy place there.

You can order RCI skids through ToyTec. Just a thought but probably best to wait for black Friday to see Toytec discounts!

Supercharger is always the best answer. But so pricey. And when you have beast mode, that's a lot of money when you already have a lot of power. But yes, supercharger would be sweet. I have a 2012 Tacoma with a TRD supercharger.

Black rim powder coat is also a good idea but will have to wait. Same with leather.

I'd take a look at some of these things. See if any trip your trigger. -> OOOOOR, if you want brownie points, spend some of it on apparel for the wife. A cozy hoodie, nice hat, or shirt. Just to include her in it.

Garage clearance at the office is 6'7" in places. I'd like to put my bike trays up top, but can't with the low clearance. No lift.

You can check last years RCI discount right here. Check out our approved venders....I'm partial to RCI since I've had full skids on my 07 and made locally to me. Josh, the owner is good people!

I use my Tundra to tow our trailer and to drive 10 miles to work. It's unlikely to see any real offroad use.

Is anything more than a front skid overkill? Is a front skid overkill?

Everybody thinks a skid is a waste if you don't off road... right up until some jackass loses a (insert random object) off their rig in front of you and it saves you. Besides, overkill is highly underrated!

Invest in improving your driving experience. Bilstein 6112s.
Set them at the first setting. It will only raise your front end .75" - a very small rise, but the ride improvement! They are amazing.

I have em set to 1.3" and it almost levels the truck, but it's like driving a sports car.
