Just upgraded from a 2016 Regular Cab Long Bed...

I'm pretty excited about this truck since it's a fairly uncommon spec (SR5 Double Cab Long Bed). I ordered it with the SR5 Upgrade package (for the 38 gal tank), Convenience package (for the parking sensors, this thing is long!), factory spray-in bed liner to get the stamped "Tundra" in the bed, and the rail system because I used it frequently on my previous Tundras. I think the only thing I wanted that I didn't get was the LED headlights, but that will be easily remedied soon.

Some pics of it (almost) fresh off the transport... glad I caught it before the PDI so I could request no front plate bracket and no exterior wash

    2 miles on the odometer!

Still waiting on that first wash.

The truck is approximately 2 miles long. So much utility though!

I actually don't mind the chrome against the Cavalry Blue

Thanks! I'm not sure on how you'd go about it, but for what it's worth, it's a "port installed" option, not a factory one. So maybe it's possible...

Love a long bed. My next truck, whatever it is, will be an 8' bed.

This is my third Tundra with the 8' bed, and I don't think I'd ever own one without it. I use it all the time.

Right on! Good job catching it before pdi, wish I would have found mine that way but it was a dealer trade, and the day it got there I went to check it out and noticed the tires looked low. Got my gauge out and all 4 read under 25psi, some idiot drive it 50 miles like that, who doesn’t check that before getting on the road? Enough rambling, that’s a sweet ride you got!

Thanks! My last Tundra was new but a dealer trade like yours... so similar situation, it had already been through PDI and had been driven 60ish miles from one dealer to another. Was really fortunate on this one... I showed up at the dealership to check on the status and it had just arrived.

That’s perfect! As someone who’s worked at few dealerships in the past, I realize how new cars are driven, and it’s not nice.

I'm convinced after seeing these Loooong bed double cabs that a CM with a 6.5ft bed is completely possible.... Wondering why we don't see it?

Seems like that configuration could use the same frame as this truck... I bet us enthusiasts on here would buy them, but maybe Toyota doesnt think they'd sell enough since it's already such a low volume truck

Your truck is 1.5 feet longer. A 6.5 CM would only need to be 1 foot longer. That small change in frame dimension is probably why they decided to play it easy and not produce it, as awesome as it would be

I have always wondered what the TUNDRA stamp thing is in trucks with spray ins from the factory. Trucks with drop in liners do let have this. I can not imagine toyota makes 2 different beds with some designated to get a liner sprayed. Is this a panel that is bolted or welded on and then sprayed?

Had my eyes on these for months now... 17x8 ET40... perfect fitment IMHO

Got the exterior cleaned up today. Wash, Iron X, clay bar, and then Reload. Turned out pretty nice but was getting too dark out to really see the shine.

Also put on color matched mirror caps and my tonneau cover

I'm thinking I might do the front end caps in black... not sure yet though.
