I looked 'em up and they're just what I wanted, turn signal, bsm, marker light, heated. I'll give 'em a call just to verify and probably order. Thanks for the post Kfcflores.

Yeah. I got used to tow mirrors on my old tundra. But didn't want to lose bsm in new limited. Tony at 1aauto said they should work. They also have the dark lense on marker light.

Only thing about the 1A Autos is that the lenses are darker than OEM stock drove by dealer other day amber lenses are lighter shade 1A Auto seem darker and don't stick out as much seem to be low profile compared to OEM I have TSS SR5 (no power fold) but prkg light n signals n heat work

Nice, do tow mirrors come with puddle lights? If not, how difficult would it be to add some?

I was going to do this mod. I posted question to toyota mechanic. Apparently 3rd gen are a little diffrient. He explained to me that 3rd gens actually communicate with ecu and to wire it right would get pretty complicated. After that i still got the tow mirrors but not the power fold. But if it can be done someone on this site will figure it out

Those look really good. I like the darker marker lens. Does the turn signal light up in the mirror like the bsm?

No. the turn signal does not light up in mirror. Just on outside marker.

@Kfcflores Any issues with noise or vibration at highway speeds? I keep hearing rumors about issues with the aftermarket tow mirrors but I've never heard anyone actually say THEY had issues.

I have had 3 sets. 2 from random eBay sellers and last one from 1auto. No problems from any of them. And honestly the quality looks to be just as good on all 3. If u have them fully extended for towing and going fast on bumpy road I could see maybe some vibrations. But everyday Daily driving no issues.

I've never had tow mirrors before, but with my passenger side, I fell like I have a really bad blind spot now. I can't see cars I pass until they are much further behind me. This may be a good thing if you have a trailer and would give you enough room, but I can't see cars who are just off my back fender. Any thoughts?

Use the thing above your shoulders. J/k. Turn your head and look. People become too reliant on mirrors and blind spot monitors. These are BIG vehicles. Going to be some blind spots. If it really is an issue for u get some small stick on mirrors to attach.

Ha, I get what you're saying. It's just getting used to it is all. I always turn and look, but the stock you could see really well to the side with it. I mostly just worry if my wife ever has to drive it, ha.

No it won't work. The bsm sensors are built into the bumper.

Thanks for the follow-up. I think I'm going to try the http://www.lkqcorp.com/en-us/ or junkyard route and if that fails get the ones from 1auto. I would hate to lose the power fold functionality but can't see dropping $700 on mirrors...

1aauto just released some that have power fold with built in bsm. I believe they are around $450. Still pricey but an option

I went to buy my power folding tow mirrors from 1AAuto and noticed a comment on their site about the side marker lights (not turn signal) don't work with anything above the SR5 package. Anyone know anything about this?? Can't find anything with search...

It's my understanding that there are two lights, the side turn signal and side marker. Turn signal comes on with lights, and blinks with turn signal. Side marker should come on with the lights and stay on <- this is the one that reportedly doesn't work on 1794, Platinum, and Limited versions.

@Kfcflores do you have a 1794, limited, or platinum? I see your side markers work in your pics.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully the same is true for my 2nd gen and the mirrors without BSM.

I talked to 1AAuto and they played the "some people or parts with features not standard or available on their vehicle" card. They did say they would take them back for a full refund if I wasn't happy. I'll post my outcome...

Installed my aftermarket mirrors this week. Everything works except the side marker. Heat, power fold, side signal....just no side marker. Not a biggie but wanted to follow up so people know. (2013 Platinum btw...)
