Thanks, I was trying to sort the timeline out in my head. Of note though, I have a sneaky suspicion that we're not out of the woods with the P0101 code.

On a side note, I have a +2 psi pulley waiting to go on at your approval. Outside of the tunes you're willing to make for me, I think this will be the extent on my engine modifications.ᕙ( • ‿ • )ᕗ

Just throw that bitch on. I have the smaller pulley and the tune Mat gave me works fine for it and I haven't done any data logging yet. I'm more than happy with how the truck runs. Sounds like you should probably get a afr gauge too.

 

Can't wait to try the base tune! I'm also running the 2psi pulley and currently BD 93 tune until the planets align for me and Mat sends the tune... Hint hint

 

Ya, the A/F gauge thought has been swimming around in my head too. Safety first, I know. And I suppose that if that's the case with you running the smaller pulley, I'll give it a go as well. Thanks.

 

can you tell me exactly what you did because right now I'm running the bully dog tune, and when Matt sends the tune I'm going to flash back to stock TRD tune and then install Mat's 91 / 93 octane tune at that point. Is that similar to what you did?

 

The torque app will give you afr, though it has a pretty limited range that it'll read for some reason.

Just throwing my experience in the mix, I went from stock to the TRD tune and straight to the OVTune. No issues whatsoever.

 

The app probably uses the factory afr sensor and it's a narrow band, down to 12:1 and I think that we are looking for an afr somewhere in the 11s for open loop (near WOT) power.

And I went from N/A to TRD S/C tune, to OVTune basic S/C with about a day between the two S/C tunes.

 

@OVTune can you let me know whats going on with my base tune?

@OVTune Hi Mat, reading through some of the recent posts and you mentioned that if we've emailed you a few times, that perhaps our order gets buried and you're not looking for it. we had an email exchange on October 4th and it sounded like you had the ECU file and would have it compiled by that weekend. hoping i didn't slip through the cracks. order# 5058

40+ days no base tune. I think the White Sequioa is the problem. If I had a tundra would be on the 3rd set of tires by now with the new tune maybe.
