I’m pretty sure mine just does one long beep if I have a door open.

Nothing wrong with that man. I know my alarm will go off every 10 minutes if I leave a dome light on. It’s trying to tell you you’re going to drain the battery down while it drains the battery down with the alarm going off.

So I discovered something the other day relating to the double beep issue. I am still looking into it but wanted to pass along an update. I get the double beep about 85% of the time now. When I was standing next to the truck, I heard one of the door lock actuators "double actuate". I will mess with it soon to see which one it is. Once I see which one it is I may remove the connector for a few days to see what happens. Hopefully it's a start to figuring out this issue is.

That’s weird...when I get into the wife’s Xterra, it screws me up because we both have Viper alarms.
The Nissan uses a double pulse to lock/open the door, the Tundra uses a single pulse.
So I almost always yank on the door handle during the unlock phase and mess it up.

So looking into it, when I get the double beep, all 4 door actuators activate twice.

My land cruiser beeps when I shut it off and leave the sunroof open. Maybe your sunroof or back slider?
