More specific he wants a Tundra. He is a really good kid, so I am trying to reward him.

I like that look. I feel like there's a lot you could do with it.

I'd like something similar to this, but with some tubing extending around the sides.

Paint it black and he will change his mind :D

Speaking of black paint, I just picked up a can to hit my new drums with. Considering painting the inside as well (not where shoes touch) to be safe. Also grabbed another can of Lucas synthetic super dot 3 and 4 cans of brake cleaner. I have no choice but to start doing my brakes after work every day this week.

No joke man. She complains about me spending money on brakes, which we need, but lets spend $150 each to get into Disney plus $25 to park. We'll be out $400 by the time we eat lunch. I'm about to start coughing up a storm.

One of the reasons I'm broke is a recent trip to Disney haha. Must be in the air!

I totally understand. I'm done buying truck stuff til 2020. The only mods I'll be doing for now are things I've already bought but haven't messed with. Like installing my spidertrax wheel spacers, wiring my ditch lights, cutting the back of my front wheel wells for more clearance, adjusting my coilovers for the added weight of the front bumper, adjusting my driver headlight. That's probably it

Relief to know. I've sunk money in a Chevy 3/4 ton build only to walk away with a truck with a twisted frame not seen until the work was almost done. I was walking with the aid of two canes at the time, courtesy of a young filly, and unable to really see what I had bought after another friend drove it for me and recommended it for a work up. Traded it and cash for a very fine red Tacoma V-6 that the wife totaled within the year. Haven't bought a Chevy since, nor let my wife drive my Tundra.:amen:

You work at a dealership right? Can you find out what size bolts connect the 00-03 front bumper to the side of the frame?

if i had to guess a m12x1.5 bolt.
    with a 17mm head.

could also of been a m10x1.5 bolt with a 14mm head

I need a bracket like the one at the 5 min 20 sec mark.
Not sure why coastal off-road didn't account for this.

Yeah I'm almost certain it's not a 17mm head. That's the size of the front support bolts though
