I bought one for my 2001 Tundra, it didn't make the front end sag at all, if anything maybe a quarter of an inch. It was leveled like you plan on doing as well. Granted we are talking about third gens here but I'm assuming it will do the same thing if I were to add one to my 2016

I'm inclined to believe you're looking at the Legend grille guard? The bumper weighs 182 lbs and the grille guard only 115, so I don't think you'd have much sag to worry about with the latter. Any idea on how much your grille guard dropped yours @matluth?

I have zero drop with the Ranch Hand Legend, but remember I have the beefier heavy load 614 OME coils up front. If I was adding an aftermarket bumper too I would have gone with the 613s. ToyTec set mine up perfect for my use.

What is the weight difference between the OEM bumper and an aftermarket FAB style front bumper as an option vs. a brushguard/ranch hand?

Are you meaning the N Fab prerunner style or the beefy Fab Four style?

Not to mention Iron Cross monster bumpers which are quite heavy.

It would just be the grill guard.

Good protection against critters. Ranch Hand uses thicker walled tubing/flat steel than their competitors (not including custom fab'd of course).

A power pole. The drivers side took a hit. The guard prevented a lot worse damage.

The Ranch Hand is more sturdy than the Westin. When I went to Ranch Hand Truck Fitters store in Colorado Springs the manager showed me cross sections of the tubing, flat steel they use and the competition including Westin. Not even close. There is a 3rd gen Tundra that is parked next to me almost everyday. The owner has the Westin HD. Not even close. Mounting brackets are wimpy compared to the Ranch Hand. The tubing on the Westin is larger diameter but thin walled. The flat steel used is also thinner. Ranch Hand....... winner.......

Update....That Tundra is gone. The guy now has a new plain Jane Dodge hemi 4X4. It sucks. He is a disabled vet so I'll leave him alone. He drives one of the commuter buses at our "new" VA hospital that's always in the news.

I plowed a 180 pound whitetail buck last hunting season with it. No damage to the truck or brush guard(not even a scratch). I was traveling about 40MPH down a dirt road at night when it ran in front of me. The antlers broke into several pieces.
