I'm installing the front victory 4x4 skid this afternoon and was wondering what others did with the plastic tabs that hold the factory front bumper in place. I'm tempted just to tuck the up in front, but figured these is a better way. Thanks in advance!

I ended up just kinda tucking them up, and they have stayed put...

Probably what I'll end up doing then. I ran out of daylight and only had time for an oil change so the skid plate will be tomorrows project I guess. What are the two black powder coated pieces that come in the hardware bag? It didn't come with any instructions and their install video doesn't mention the two pieces.

I'd like to know myself. I didn't end up using them.

Just an fyi, be careful with the included hardware on the front bolts. I ended up over tightening one and breaking it off in the frame, cost me some time and a Lowes run fishing it back out.

Thanks, I'll have to be careful then. And I wrote Victory 4x4 asking about the extra hardware so I'll post in here if I hear something.

And this was the reply I got concerning the extra hardware:

    Hey Josh,

We send those spacers for the Tacoma and 4runner skids so I'm thinking they were placed in your bolt pack on accident.

    Thanks!
