Great meeting you guys this week!

 

I guess it was a good call on my part to head out at 7:00am Sunday morning then. Got stuck behind one truck for about 5 minutes on the 78, but that’s about it!!

 

Now we just need to figure out how to get it from Mission Viejo to wherever you are.

 

OH no i hope you guys did not get lost that bad @Marty McFly .....

Monet traffic was horrible yesterday that is forsure. Was great to see you again and thank you for the ribs. See you on the next one.

Marty had good instincts and stopped before we off-roaded to the Salton Sea. And I used Gaia to get better bearing. Traffic is par for the course in SoCal! But worth every minute with the Shenanigans and SGU crew!

See you next time Daniel! And let Joe drive your Tundra for more than 3 miles! Hahaha!

I appreciate that @Bannock452 does everything in 2WD, has 4x4 JIC.

I make a tune up to OC once a month; if it isn’t worked out by then, I could pick it up on my way up evening of 11/13, or on my way back 11/16.

I was under the truck and down wind and Alex is the undisputed champion. I am adding a respirator to my tool kit for the next trip.

Haha... I was chase vehicle this weekend. Chasing the LT SGU/Bastard crew all over the desert!!!

It wasn’t too bad till we hit the bumpy Whoops section going from 78 to the railroad tracks. That’s where I really fell behind.

 

When the dust kicks up, all you can do is chase cuz dust is all you see!

I made sure to take 3rd position for our Fish Creek night run. Even then, there were a few sections where I couldn’t see more than 5ft in front of my rig.

 

Not too bad thankfully we just had to back track a little bit to get back on course

 

I just realized I didn't publicly/officially thank @joonbug. It's easy to forget his contributions 'cause he's such the "right hand." He's always there like having a third arm, an extension of yourself, just quietly, constantly doing whatever he can to help out. He's that guy that's never gonna leave you in a lurch and springs into action when action is required. Thanks Joon, you da man!

This panel on which you mounted your SP; did you fab that or is it something I can get in a hurry, this week? Can you get a pic or describe where/ how you mounted that?

I’m really challenged, trying to ID a spot to mount mine- currently playing with cardboard cutouts trying to imagine how to mount it atop my fuse box, but the fuse box in my first gen Tundra is waaaay smaller than in a 3rd gen Tundra or your 4R— about 2 3/4” front to back— it would be better to mount off the wall near where you put yours.

Anyway, if that’s not a one-of-a-kind, can you please post a link to the source?
