Recirculating Air Turns Off Automatically

Does anyone have a fix for the recirculating air turning off when you least expect it? It didn't happen during the summer but now that winter is here it is turning off on it's own.

 

I have the opposite problem. Every time I start up the truck it’s on recirc

I realize mine is a bit different but, on my 2012, if I hold the recirc button for a few seconds it will stay on recirc until I physically press the recirc button to turn it off. I haven’t had it set to fresh air much at all this entire year. I think it’s only on fresh air during times I need the defrost.

should turn off when going to Defrost...

 

I want it off all the time. Should be a user setting. My Tacoma was opposite and the way I liked it. I seem to recall that I could even turn off when on max air
