Why this instead of Line-X or other spray in bed line?

I don't have the money for a spray in liner. I would certainly love to have that done but can't justify the cost. I used about $5 worth of fluid film and came across that bed liner protector mat thing for cheap on craigslist, it came with the swing case.
I also really like the durability and strength of the plastic drop in liner. I have used it to haul firewood, gravel, bricks, mulch, my old honda ATC 3 wheeler and the usual bed for the truck stuff.
I justify my cheapness too lol. I don't use my bed too often but when I do I don't wanna worry about scratching, denting, chipping an expensive liner. I have the tonneau in a place 99% of the time and it stays very dry under there.
I was pleasantly surprised by the fact there was zero rust and minimal paint wear under the bed liner which has been in there for 5 years and 40k miles. A lot of that can probably be attributed to the fact the truck has always had a tonneau and has been garage kept.

With all the money you've spent Sean on detailing supplies you could have probably had four coats of LineX sprayed!!

BUT...without your reviews on said detailing supplies, we'd all be dealing with DPC BULL$h!T!! So thank you for the coin you've dropped for the community!!

Added a Pop & Lock tailgate lock. Why dealers don't order this inexpensive upgrade on all trucks I'll never know. I sold the console safe, so I'm still in the green!

Actually did this a while back but thought I would share. Added a Switch Pro and made my own mount for for a terminal bar and common busbar that mounts over the fuse box. Made it hinged with a threaded knob so I can get to the fuses easily. Also added an ARB compressor.

Put 2" Supreme Suspension wheel spacers on. Love the way it looks, kinda like a RC car in person. Might be pulling the trigger on some larger tires soon, but this will do for now. Still waiting to put my front Fox Coilovers on too.

My FFV sure likes ethanol free. 2mpg gain not really worth the additional $.70 per gal.

installed my clazzios. Had them in my previous Tacoma and I love them. Their customer service is top notch too. The rear arm rest was a little short on material in one area, emailed customer service and now they’re sending me a brand new one.
