Put on another coat of Collinite 845. 2nd coat in about 30 days. Getting the rig layered up to last thru another MN winter.

Yep. And even at that rate it still feels like I'm wasting a lot. I need to find a better dispenser for it. The bottle doesn't have a limiter in it.

Rustoleum high heat with ceramic. Also used the Rustoleum high heat primer. Covers way better than the VHT brand

Nice! I had an 8” on my last windshield. Haven’t installed on this one yet because I want to go bigger. Could I get a shot from the interior looking through the windshield please?

All my other trucks I've had a 18" strip so that's what we tried first. Had some issues with the edges wanting to pull back while drying so I went with the 15" instead. 18" would have been perfect though. Just above were I see out the windshield. 20191018_150220.jpg

I recall there being a period that some referenced as kind of a euro/sterile look where vehicles were "white-out" vs. the "black-out"/"murdered-out" that has been around for a while now.

Ahhh, the 1st Gen Integra. I had a 2nd Gen. 5 spd. I loved it.

Are you trying to make it go slower? :D

I refinished some tow mirrors. I bought them used and they had some decent scratches on the outside.

scuffed with scotch brite to remove the shine as well as 99% of the scratches.

Used SEM automotive trim paint and they look better than new

i usually get it in a hot water bath. Just a dab on the applicator.

but you’re right. It could be better.

Did the same today. Immediately satisfied with the lack of jerkiness in the 1st/2nd gear speed regime. Much better / finer throttle control.

Of note, I couldn’t find pics of the shim when I was researching this, despite numerous posts on it. So I’ll post for future users. Looking at the two pedals, there seems to physically be zero difference, especially after the shim is removed from the original pedal. Perhaps it’s just the shim causing the issue, or it is a combo of no shim and new pedal (interior differences maybe?). Install is 2 10mm bolts. Had I to do it over I would have removed the shim (flathead and needle nose pliers) first, driven it, then bought the 440 pedal if that didn’t satisfy. At least it was a $35 gamble and not $100s.

Had the full meal deal service done yesterday. Transmission flush, oil change, front and rear diff oil, filters etc. I was amazed at the difference the new transmission fluid made, the truck shifts silky smooth now. I'm at 90K miles, and I'm sure the Transmission and diffs have never been serviced.
