Local gun shop has a sign on the counter:

“For $5 we will write receipt that matches what you told her you spent”

    Got it installed!

Two questions for @dirtydeeds or someone knowledgeable:

1: Do you lose anything on aggressiveness or growl if you use the resonator?

2: Can you cut the 2” hole saw hole while the tail pipe is mounted or do you have to remove it? (Damnit, I just put it on. Haha)

ok. I was confused because he mentioned dropping the tail pipe and proceeded to “cheat” with a plasma cutter which I don’t have. Hahaha!

If you don’t mind paying $50+/- a local exhaust shop could torch the hole and clamp the resonator down.

I got the tracking email on Friday. But according to FedEx as of Sunday it only shows label created no movement. Hopefully Monday will update with it actually getting closer to me...

The resonator completely eliminated the drone @60mph!

I had to lower the spare for access to the tail pipe and use wd-40 with an old 2” metal hole saw but but got it all hooked up!

...I'm back and done with the install of the resonator.

#1: Yes. It's overall a little more subdued IMO with the resonator but the trade-off (for me) was worth it because the drone is 100% gone. I would definitely say aggressiveness went down a notch with the resonator though.

#2: Tip for installing the resonator – In my case, I had to lower the spare (lots of videos if you don't know how) so that I could get the correct leverage and angle on my 2" hole saw. Used a lot of WD-40 and patience but got a clean hole cut through the tailpipe eventually.

IMO no you do not. It sounds just as mean outside with or without. it just decreases interior volume/drone.

@dirtydeeds any advice on repairing the flanges on the midpipes? Havent had any luck mounting my new exhaust the mid pipe flanges that bolts to the new exhaust flanges were so rusted its paper thin now. I have a new flange at home but its for a 3inch dont feel like welding and cutting. Having a new born doesnt give me time for anything

It’s here. A day early! Headed out to the garage to watch the ‘stros stomp the Yankees while I install my new exhaust.

Getting my subs around the same time as my exhaust. This is going to create quite the dilema.

Exhaust first. Then everyone can enjoy it. Subs are only fun for in the cab.

I disagree. I don't mind a ballsy exhaust on a truck, but when somebody rolls down with subs blasting bass that makes my rear view mirror vibrate, I think they are an a***hole. If I can hear your bass/music from across the street, I'm not your biggest fan. lol

Mine got delivered two days early, only problem was my FED EX person delivered it to wrong house. Got delivered notice, went home and no package. Had to roam my neighborhood and found it a block over. Coincidentally he had a Tundra in his driveway. That would have sucked.

Anyway, just got it installed and it sounds bad ass. Haven't put resonator on yet, just enjoying sound till I get tired of drone. @dirtydeeds, great product and I am totally satisfied. Thanks Keith for the group buy.

So the Astros won! And my exhaust sounds awesome. I’m glad I went with the 8” but haven’t had it on the highway yet.

What exactly does the resonator do? I haven’t installed it yet

    2. Congrats on the exhaust, resonator eliminates the cab “drone” sound.

    What side of town!?
Resonator will eliminate the incab drone at certain RPMs
