    Folks,

Great site and it looks like it's gonna cost me a bunch of money on modifications looking at what everyone has done to their Tundras......bbahahhahaa

OK, to start, this is a stock 2017 MBM Platinum 4x4. It was ordered with the following 'add-ons'; spray on bed liner, black step-up side bars, remote start, tri-fold bed cover, TRD CAI, TRD dual exhaust, LED bed lights......

It arrived a few days ago with only the bed lights and step ups already fitted, the rest of the parts are on back order (it was a wait to get MBM fresh off the line)....

All the other parts arriving next week at the dealership???.

Meantime, it as has a 'stubby' antenna fitted (cosmetics only as I do not listen to FM/AM normally.....BTA and Slacker being my preferences...XM/Sirius.... IMO is a rip-off), centre console divider and tray and Husky Weather Beaters front and back.

The truck is off to the custom shop tomorrow for glass tints, de-chrome (badges, mirror caps, door handles), new black mesh grille (T-Rex Upper Class), stock Platinum wheels will be powder coated to match MBM body colour ( I love the Platinum 6 spoke wheel design), Spyder black tail/brake lights and maybe...spyder headlights, not quite sold on this yet.

It will live it's life on the highway and around town, I have no interest in 'off-road, dirt tracking or the like'...so no lifts or big tires, etc.....although must admit, I have seen some Tundras with 26" wheels on here...look nice!

Stage 1 now complete, erm.... well nearly.....

Shop ordered the wrong T-Rex Upper Class grille, not true exactly...the bottom part arrived but not the main event!!!!

Door handles, badges and mirror tops now black but at a cost....labour intensive...$$$ ouch, but match MGM body colour....still reeling from this one, but I did not want factory matt black...so......

Wheels (also MBM) will be next week due to backlog at the powder coat specialist.....

But, good news!...the TRD Dual Exhaust and CAI are at the dealership, as is the TRD shifter knob and bedliner (spray on...guess it will be 'farmed out' to some other shop?).....tomorrow?

The tri-fold backflip G2 bed cover not here until 23rd Dec....wtf, I can get next day on Amazon for probably way cheaper??

"Rome was not built in a day", but "I WANT IT RIGHT NOW, AND I MEAN IT" (David Lynch - Wild at Heart - fav movie of all time).

Pics tomorrow when its daylight...good night all

On my MBM truck I elected to go with the Sequoia high gloss black handles and mirror inserts. It's a factory paint finish and it's extremely hard to tell the difference unless your looking for it. I think I paid around $230 for all the parts from the dealer. It's extremely easy to replace them as well. Just a suggestion if you want to save a ton of money versus having a painter do them. Post some pics when you can.

Yip, it's a a steep learning curve for me, never been into custom mods before, always been just one of the 'stock' crowd I guess?....however, I am learning pretty quick that what you absolutely want....with NO compromises, is going to cost mucho dinero?...or is it?...shop wise shop right?
The Spyders (front and rear) are on hold...shop reckons they are cheap crap and I need to go with Anzos or whatever at double the cost!!!!!

Could it be that I am being taken advantage off (being a greenie with this game)????

    Thoughts please guys, thankx all

Bunch of guys here are running Spyders and I have not heard of a single complaint. Some wished it worked with motors, but most don't adjust the light direction anyway and are OK with a fixed direction of their headlights. I have not seen many posts here on Anzos so I couldn't tell you. I'm sure the folks running Spyders will jump in soon and provide their opinion.

Anytime. At first I was going with a Stormtrooper look, but like @bobeast said about looking more like pandas; I'll get my panda on instead!

So, she is back from the dealership after the next stage of the build. TRD Dual, TRD CAI, TRD shifter knob and spray on bed liner fitted.....I was hoping to take to get her photograph taken today but it's a horrible "driech" (Scots for nasty, overcast and drizzly) day here. Maybe tomorrow?
