$2.18 today in Knoxville, TN. I know CA is nuts but what's driving up prices recently?

I don't even look anymore. I just blindly drive to Costco and fill up. I assume its cheapest there.

Luckily my truck is not my DD.

One of the MAJOR reasons why I left and never looked back. The year when prices were records high, I was paying close to $10K just in gas alone for my DD to get to work. I will never live in that state again. Visit? when I fly in I take mass transit or ride with friends and pass a few $$$ for the ride. I'm done living there.

Same here. I dont look because I have too, also my DD. Small town, so pretty much everything is within a few cents of each other. But it's funny how you drive 60 miles west or 100 miles east and prices drop drastically. Can't figure out why this town cost so much at times.

We live roughly 80 miles north of the Cal/Ore border and only go into that third world once and a while to visit the Redwoods at Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, generally not much south beyond the Klamath river in the State of Jefferson area. I welcome people to come and live here in Oregon, but threaten them not to bring their socialistic political ideals from California, we have enough of our own political left wingers to deal with, including our present governor and a few others we'd like to see gone.

Mid grade 87 octane is $2.64 a gallon I’m my hood.

There has been some rumor of a push to do another .45 cents per gallon tax on fuel.

Damn SC is cheaper than even here. Probably more taxes in Taxus on fuel. I always liked SC. It's the 1st southern state you reach traveling south from NC or Virginia

$2.14 the other day in SC and FLA. Got some gas here today $3.09. I have a few ideas, I'll be keeping them to myself since I kind of like it here.

I’m inland and gas is 3.83 by me. Not great but not bad. It’s always more expensive by the coastal cities. My last fill up was at 2.89 two weeks ago thanks to discount points.
