Man, I am super impressed with this. 12 hours ago if you would have asked me if I felt comfortable fabbing up my own front LT I would have called you crazy. Seeing you tackle it gives me that, "If he can do it, fuck it, I can too." feeling. Haha

Did I miss what coilovers you went with?

I won't say it's easy by any means, but like anything if you follow some rules and factor in some things you can do it. I would say there have been people dumber than myself that have made suspension setups that have worked well. Dollar for dollar I'd just buy one anyway.

I used oem coilovers. That's only kind of a joke. I'll get a picture later to explain why that's half true and half a joke.

Let me bombard you with questions real quick.

    Are these adjustable at all?

Would these fit our factory buckets and LCA’s?

Are you using the factory Ford springs as well?

    No problem.
-They are as adjustable as any coilover shock as far as valving. There isn't a lot of info on taking them apart and tuning them, but they are internal bypass shocks at heart.
    - they are much longer and will not fit the stock buckets. Fitting them was not fun.
    - I am currently using factory 2017/18 raptor springs that I have cut down. I am looking at other spring options and possibly an adjustable lower spring retainer.

I have about 300 miles on it now and it still drives nicely. I still would like to lower the front a little more, add a little more caster, and possibly add a sway bar. It has manageable body roll, but my wife might not be able to drive it in a twisty canyon currently. I'm hoping I can squeeze the factory sway bar in there with heimed sway bar ends. I'll have to look at my options here, but I'm really hoping I don't have to spend the money on a custom sway bar.

Thanks for those pics. Beautiful dog! My Husky , Halle, died last July at 13 years old. Miss her a lot. Rescue pup. She rode all the way up to AK in 2011 and back. She got to go home so to speak.

Super nice Job with the fab work. What's happening in the rear? I'm guessing you won't be using factory mounting locations. Lol

Hey, your backup camera, how did you route the wire from the tailgate? I’m planning on the same setup you have for my backup camera.

Just out the bottom through existing drain holes. I had to open up a hole on the back of the bed to meet up with it and I used some clear tubing as heavy duty loom.

It's not readily visibly since it's hidden mostly by the tailgate when it's closed. You can see it when the tailgate is open if you really look for it.

I ran mine down the tail gate and under the bed thru the gap where you drop your spare tire. But i keep my spare in the bed.
Then the wire just runs along frame to the port under driver seat into the cab

Yep same spot. Now that I'm thinking about it I just opened part of that up so I could fit the loom and the spare tire rod.

I’d say it’s just a little less durable than powder coat.
But unlike powdercoat you can touch it up
