Readylift

Hi all,
I’m thinking of getting the readylift 3/2 lift for my 2020 Tundra TRD Sport. Anyone have the lift on an older model and what do you think of it?

 

Its a standard spacer/block lift.

Why not spend a little more and get 5100s and some shackles for a 3/2
or spend a little more and get 6112s and shackles
or spend a little more and get OME 612s and Dakar Leaf Pack
or spend a little more and get some Kings
or spend a little more and get long travel

 

With this in mind I’m thinking the BDs 8” with coilovers and reservoirs

 

I can’t decide is the 4/2 is worth the extra 700 for control arms and a little bit more clearance. I already have the bilstien shocks so I don’t need more travel.

 

I did the 3/2 lift and wish I would've just waited and did a 6" lift

 

I use the truck for work a whole bunch and don’t want to do that high right now

 

I have it on my 2013 with 285/70/18's (34's) on a 0 offset. It's fine for a daily driver/street use truck. Quite a few of us running that setup. Not recommended for offroading though. Ride is pretty much same as stock. As mentioned, just depends on your intended use and budget.

 

I do light off roading, just some easy trails and boys being boys. Will it affect the performance for better or no effect?

Just saying lifts can cause premature wear on items like ball joints and universal joints.

 

Most will recommend not offroading at all as a spacer lift is a completely different setup compared to coilovers and shackles. Others will chime in but there have been instances of guys snapping lower shock mounts offroading with a spacer kit.

After issue after issue with alignments using my 3/2 with tuff country UCAs, I just ordered a BOSS shock setup and some SPC UCAs. Bought my truck with the spacer lift so not sure what stock is but hoping for an improvement on ride quality too. My tires cost way too much for problems.

 

Toytec Boss kit or Boss 4x4 setup? The Toytec has 700 lb springs so it will stiffen the front but handle bumps better. I'm saving my $ to switch out my spacer kit as well.

 

Toytec Boss, I'm leaving the block in the back after talking with David but replacing the shocks. Front spacer is getting replaced with Boss 2.0

I think that's right, but might as well get everything nice while we're at it right . I'm kicking myself for not buying them when Amazon had them for like $450

 

Yeah I missed that sale too. I would remove the block and go with shackles.

 

dont want to hijack the thread, but i thought about going shackles, not going to quite get the same lift i have in the back i dont think and would need to figure out replacement U bolts etc - havent seen a lot of options for that. i can get stuff done on the truck but im still a dummy

 

Toytec has a 1/2 block that you can use along with the shackles. They have u bolts as well.

 

migh have done that along with my original order but now I guess I'll just have to wait till later.
