It’s pretty damn cool if you ask me. I don’t care for the headache rack but still, I'm glad they are still making fun trucks out there. If you don’t think a 700+ horsepower truck doesn’t sound fun, even if just for a minute, you need to rethink things LOL. It doesn’t have to be practical for it to be an exciting idea. If I was a kid I would have a poster of it on my wall. If money wasn’t an issue it would be another truck in my stable!

I almost bought an SRT Ram years ago. But instead talked my friend into buying it! Haha! It is a bad ass truck and it still works great. Very very poor gas mileage. But it still got better gas mileage than his dad’s 85 F350 with a 460 big block. He had the double cab with the automatic transmission. It towed like a freaking diesel.

I’m not really a ram fan but that truck looks like it kicks ass. Good to see industry doing this regardless of brand.

13 inches isn’t long travel. It’s a tundra with coilovers give or take.

Did you notice it had kings with clickers? Beeeeery interesting. That thing sure looks cool. Wonder how bad they neuter it for production.

All rams are 4 link rear aren’t they? That sure gives them some neat options.

Perspective. Most first gen long travel kits are 13" of travel. That's plenty to have fun in the dirt.

But if they made a 700 hp raptor, I might want to talk about it a little bit. Not like I’m gonna go get one though LOL

A little of this and a little of that. Its pretty run of the mill.
Now maybe Ford will actually put that flat crank GT motor in the raptor.

Dodges are the fastest rusting trucks on the road. I had one, it was a good vehicle but it rusted horribly. Any older one I see on the road is rusting. They might be fine down south or out west, but I would never buy another one while living where it snows.

Definitely want to test drive one! Maybe the dealership would let me keep it overnight if I showed genuine interest in buying one.

You know what I found interesting about the new rams? They are going back to the black plastic everyone used to hate so much on vehicle trim. Looks good on it, but I just found that interesting.

I would love a true TRD Pro with those specs at that price point!

That article just lists off the specs and photos of that 4 year old concept vehicle. The new TRX is indeed on the new chassis. Here is a link of it testing at some dunes in Michigan. TFL also has a bunch of spy photos.

    https://youtu.be/R9J-Clu63ko

Full disclosure: Current owner a 2014 Jeep SRT that I have loved driving for 5 years, and will never get rid of. Couple months ago bought a 2018 Platinum (have owned two prior tundras, and two Tacoma’s before those). Also owned a 2017 Ram Sport Luxury for two months (texting driver ran a red light hit he and totaled it).

So I can’t wait to see the truck when it comes out, and will be a tough call between it and a Raptor. Heck, even if they put the 6.4 from my Jeep SRT into a Ram Rebel it would be so tempting to go get one.

In this segment, it’s either Ford or Fiat. Not exactly good choices.
For the price, I don’t understand why people don’t buy base 4x4s and then drop 10-20g into them. Just buy it new and let a 4x4 shop deal with it. Still save you a ton of money.

Badass truck but I don’t meet the height requirements to own it. Need to be between 5’5-5’8 or 6’1 or higher. I will keep mu Tundra.
