Just to confirm...what does non drl mean? Non led? I have a 16 sr5 with halogen and the amber drl, do I need the additional harness?

 

To clarify, you'll need the additional drl harness if your Tundra does not have stock led drls.

I have a 2017 with a new wiring harness for the 2019 tundra headlights. Will i still need to buy that drl harness or can i use the harness that im using now?

Im just trying to sell myself on these, but are they really better then oem led besides the appearance? My 19 leds are pretty good and you all know the old saying " nothing is ever like factory oem". Also does it maintain the auto level must have missed it on reviews.

 

I'm pretty sure I read that it maintains the leveling adjustment. I've just got the basic halogen lights, so anything will be a major improvement for me.

 

If you have a tight budget, you should go with OEM LED. It’s affordable, I just upgraded mine over the weekend. It’s definitely an upgrade for me from halogens bulbs.

 

I'm either going to do that, or splurge and go for a set of these. Budget?....I'm already way past that

@X09 I didn’t installed the new Morimoto XB. I was referring to OEM LED.

 

Sorry for the confusion‍♂️. I was asking @eledobleu. I have the 2019 trd headlights installed. But im really interested in this new setup. I need to see the installation video and what error code is showing and if its been resolved before i drop 1k

 

The lights are plug and played even with the harness.

From my understanding the error code will be fixed on the new batch coming in. But I need to confirm this first

 

If anyone buys these and wants to sell there leds I’ll buy

 

Error codes for those with stock led will be fixed according to TRS and morimoto. Remember they have a 5 year Warranty so every part of the light is guaranteed. Can't be that especially with aftermarket products.

I read on a site that if you have led rear tailights, i have the winjets, that the front xb lights will hyperflash. Is this true?
