Beautiful! One of my favorite combos ,great protection from the hydro2 and gloss from beadmaker. I have read some guys using hydro2 over beadmaker but I don't understand that logic, especially with the great results of the beadmaker over hydro2.
Anyway, your truck looks great, but I am a bit biased to that color ;)

Thanks! Wow hydro2 after Beadmaker seems counter-intuitive and a lot more work!

I don’t really see how doing it that way is anything but wasting product, but to each their own. Hydro2 is one of the best and easiest to use sealants on the market. That said, it doesn’t enhance gloss or shine at all, so I really can’t imagine why it would be put on top.

By putting Hydro2 on top of Beadmaker, the only thing you are accomplishing is:

    1) Dampening the effects and benefits of Beadmaker.
    2) Reducing the durability of Hydro2.

Foam cannoned, ironx, clayed and polished 1 side. Going to try and finish before I'm out of daylight.
@Pudge DA doesn't gimme a damn bit of shine, think it's faulty. Sold me a lemon...

Oh baby that looks freaking sweet. Looks like glass man. Nice job. What polish and pads did you use? If it looks that slick and shiny without any sealant or wax, just imagine how its gonna pop once you get it protected. Nice job man, I know how much effort and time that takes and I truly appreciate that nice of a job. Keep it up buddy!

Haha thanks man! Owe a lot to you and other guys in the forums.

Used the LC 5" black pads and the Meg's polish pre-wax. Going tomorrow after work I can finish and put on a coat of hydro and beadmaker and possibly dlux on the wheels. I'll keep posting as I go along

So I'm having a dilemma, should I beadmaker or put on a coat of wax? I got about a month before the snow flies and want to put something on that will give me the longest protection. Did I read somewhere that @Pudge or @War Machine said beadmaker lasts maybe 4-6 weeks and wax less than that? Does a higher quality wax make a difference of longevity? Once the snow flies, I'm screwed for detailing until March. Trying to find something that will limp me to next spring.
I'll probably hit up the manual car wash and pressure wash the gunk and grime in the meantime since they have heated water.

Yes, some waxes do last longer, but not that long. Neither beadmaker or wax will get you through the winter.
The longest lasting sealant I’ve used is Jescar Powerlock. Either that or Reload is what I’d recommend for getting you through the winter.
