Need power to sun visors in 2014 SR5, didn't come powered. Need to run wires as there's no harness. How would one go about this?

    Welcome from NY.
Look behind/above your rear view mirror. I got power from there on my 2018.

I have it all taken apart. I saw that blob of wires. I was trying to avoid that unless I knew the exact wire to tap. I don't want to start popping fuses all over the place. Amy idea what color they were? I have a 2014. Think its the same?

I'm not sure and my Tundra is at my friend's house.
Unplug the wire from the back of the mirror and use a test light, that's how I did it before tapping into the wire. Turn the key on to accessory and then off to see which one is powered by the key.

Do I want a constant or key controlled power? Also, I went to the junk yard, bought the visors and ripped out the 2 wires they connect to! Removed the dome light assembly amd the pillars, ran the wires from left to right through the mounting holes...I ran an 18 gauge wire from the fuse box (empty slot -hot) with a 20 amp fuse all boot legged to the 2 wires...test lighted them...here's the wierd part...I have power all the way to the connectors, the factory connectors but these dam things won't light up!!! I've spent 2 days trying to figure it out. Sorry for the long message. I'm about to pull my hair out over here.

Was the door open or closed when you tried to get the vanity mirror lights to work ( assuming that's what you are doing)? Sound like you tapped into the dome light that lights up when the door is open.

The door was open but the fuse slot I used was an open one...empty but had constant power to it, light tested it. Trying to save tapping into the dome light wire bundle as a last resort or until someone on here can tell me exactly which wire to tap.

I finally relented...after 2 days of digging and picking around my SR5, running wires and contorting my body to access the fuse panel, I took it to the near by car audio shop and asked the guy to bail me out of this conundrum. So 2 days and $50 into it, it's done. Power to my sun visor vanity mirrors. Feel like a punk for taking it somewhere but I was done with it. The worse part is the guy I paid wasn't the guy that did the install so he couldn't tell me how it was done. Thanks for the efforts and comments made here on the forum. They were all much appreciated.

Yeah, electrical work on trucks can be frustrating. Glad you got it worked out
