    Sorry been slacking on forum and truck mods before today. The solution I went with is really simple, cheap, and effective. I went with auto access battery operated led strips. 1 in front and 1 rear. If u decide to go this route like some others I've convinced, lmk and I'll show u where to put them for best coverage using the reflective bottom of diamondback.

    No pictures, but had Ziebart's do rust protection and undercoating on the Tundra today. gotta make this truck last through the Buffalo winters. A couple months ago I noticed an inch long bare spot from paint chipping off on one of the pinch welds, so I asked them to go up and over the pinch welds with the black-oil undercoating.

    Finally installed this after like a year from purchasing. As you guys can see I'm struggling to provide you guys with pics. Should have taken more during install but it still wouldn't be anything you all haven't seen before.

    If I knew I could bang it out in like a hour I'd have done it a long time ago.
    Super easy and the kit I got came with the wire harness so I could just unsnap and remove tailgate just like the rear camera harness.

    All buttoned up with plenty of extra wire for both tailgate and under cab to passenger side footwell rubber grommet under carpet.

    Best part, I even got it to lock/unlock correctly first try based on tapping the correct wires. Tnx to my boy @BlueBottle for the install write up which helped. Can't believe I sat on this install for so long.

    Forget what I said, it throws up on itself half the time with the new sensor. I am painting my original grille and I'll just put it back.

    Yes it is. I got it from James Randy Taylor from tech12volts when he did a group buy on them. The product itself is very similar to this one I did a quick search on https://www.crutchfield.com/S-MP2Qu...5Nd0eEJMAN9BC-91n_DbNbWz2Ah4QNmBoCfUEQAvD_BwE

    As you might be able to tell I cut a piece from the toughskinz I had to replace with the charger going over and added it to the bottom face of the charger to tie in with everything else. JRT is a great dude, if he still has them hes a trusted vendor to purchase from.

    How do you like that Camlocker box? I eventually want a box that doesn't straddle the bed sides so I can keep it in when I have a cap on it (plus it doesn't obstruct the rear view). I was looking at the Weatherguard chests. They're a bit pricey, but people I know say they're bulletproof. What'd the Camlocker run you? Is it solid...not easily broken into?

    Got my OEM LED headlights and Morimoto LED fog lights installed. On to the chrome delete, 6112s and 5160s w/ Coachbuilder shackles, and the wireless charger mod and this truck will be perfect to me.

    Threw in the new headlights...it was the right decision. iHacker made it easy and is the Man when it comes to professional looking harnesses! Il have to wait a bit more until it's not a flat light for lighted lamp photos...

    I did wire it up that way...there are shortcuts one can take if they aren't a level 10 electrician/wiring guru...I am not a guru so some of the shortcuts were taken...I think I need to double check if the DRL LEDs ever get brighter or dim...they seem to be on a constant flow of dim...so I'll revisit some wiring and see what's up...
