Oct 18-20: Anza Borrego Trip

A few guys are staying at Palm Canyon if you're interested. I think @Porschetech29 and a few of his guys from LA will be there. It's a proper campground if you prefer. The Cove is more BLM-style camping, but with a bathroom. @Bannock452 is also contemplating bringing a trailer out there...and maybe @nishibot too??

Yup, I’ll be at Palm Canyon with 3 other rigs. Headed there after work Friday evening. I’m usually against established campgrounds but we are meeting up pretty early on Saturday and the campground is only 5 minutes away

Thanks Sam! Francis got me to the right place and I have a spot at camp for Friday eve.

Any plans for meals, sharing or on our own? I’d like to at least cook some ribs again for you and Kris probably Saturday dinner..

Sam got a taste at SanG, even tho it was leftovers...

 

Meals are too hard (for me) to coordinate with this many people. Rest assured there will be plenty of food. Monet's Korean BBQ will be a welcome addition. I'm undecided on what I'll contribute. My kids and I usually go simplistic like burgers and/or dogs.

 

Wish i could join but we are doing a yard sale this weekend so busy busy busy. Be safe Sam!

 

Friday i am just going to cook up something quick when we get to camp. Saturday i am thinking about just grilling up a bunch of chicken and veggies for whoever wants to eat on some.

Okay, I’m liking this! Whatever we bring for Saturday, we’ll bring extra to share. (I mean, myself and my Fambly- not bossing what anyone else does .) Maybe we can convince each other in stages that group meal planning is the way to go.

We may come ridiculously early Saturday rather than camp Friday. Probably easier to get a groggy kid into a truck to doze on the way, than to get him out of the tent in time to square everything away before meet time.

 

@Sunnier do you or anyone else have a drop pin or map point where meet location is at the Scorpion???
