There's a '19 Tundra price paid thread that's been really helpful as I've been researching my Tundra purchase, but I've decided that I like the modest upgrades to the 2020, and the 2019s are getting thinned out in my area, so I though it might be helpful to start a new thread for pricing on the '20s.

I just left my local dealership and was offered about an 8% discount off of MSRP. The MSRP is $49,500, dealer discount is $4,000, and then there is a $1,000 rebate in my region, so a total of $5,000 off MSRP. What do you all think? I think that is reasonable, the reason I didn't pull the trigger is because they're adding $900 for window tint and "door cups", which from what I can tell is basically just clear stickers they put behind the door handles to keep you from scratching the paint.

Yeah, that protective film seems to be over priced. If I did the math right, the Toyota dealership wanted $1800 to put that protective film on the front end (and door cups) while I had a GM dealership offer me clear coat on an entire truck for $1000.

That’s fair. I put an order for my 2020 and received $3000 dealer discount and then whatever Toyota offers when it comes in. For my region the protections for the handle cups (plus whatever else that package comes with) is about $400. I think $900 may be high, but you’re getting a $4000 discount. Seams a good trade to me.

Take it somewhere else for add ons. That is at least 2x over priced. Typical dealer RIP off

I got 5k off my 2020 platinum. I wasn't able to beat that anywhere else that had a white platinum. The internet guy made a mistake. He thought it was a 2019 and offered 8k off including 3k rebate. When he figured out the mistake, he said he could do the 5k off but there's no rebate for 2020. I was ok with it.

Mine stickered for almost $51K. Got them down to $42650 before TT&L. It helps to have a dealership close by that has the same truck that the dealership you are working with. I had them battling each other.

I ran numbers from TruCar for dealers within 200 miles. I took the cheapest quote to the 3 closest dealers and 1 was willing to match the price. That's where I bought it...

Man everyone is paying a lot for their Tundras. My 2020 SR5 SX 4X4 cost me $41,000 Canadian which is only $31,000 US. I got the two front windows tinted for $100.

7K under MSRP and a hard tonneau cover included in the deal. Standard dealer program with free oil changes, tire rotations, state inspections and a “warrantied engine for life” (I’m sure there is some serious fine print on that deal) too.

    Location- Chesapeake, VA

Was very happy with the sales experience too with Priority Toyota.
