I know this feeling ... My OEM's were suppose to reach Ele (Leo) yesterday and they are currently delayed 10-20 miles from him (what the heck!). Only relief I have is knowing I packaged my stuff double boxed and with memory foam around them (how my Spyders were shipped) and should be able to take a beating.

On a side note, I went ahead and ordered the Black/smoked Spyder tail lamps yesterday. I figure the best way to make sure I'm happy with what I got is to see it in person. I'll take a small lost when I decide to sell one of the sets but at least I will have what I want.

No, I have the clear/black ones. Having seen what the Led strips look like, I believe that the smoked/black ones might be a closer match as I thought the strip was going to be more white on the retros as oppose to clearish/white.

    Take a look at Krezz's post #3350 and Wes's post #3353 and you'll see what I mean.

Compared to my current set up. Besides, the smoked white might jell better with the sky silver too.

I've now heard of 2 different members having their retros now comeback to them with something broken. I don't know if it's do to poor handling or packaging but I have paid over $90 one way to ship this stuff so I'll be pissed off with someone if I have any issues. Are the packages marked fragile upon return? Could be that at this time of year there are a lot of seasonal workers that just don't care.

It's not the season. Those guys dont care...all year round. Everyone should know better than to send something unprotected. After you package something, if you're not comfortable throwing it against the wall as hard as you can 10 times, you didn't package it well enough. That's pretty much what it's going to go through.

Let's all have some positive thoughts go out to those who handle our retrofit packages....

I hope they put in the "A" squad this week! My lights are about to leave the east coast and I'm all the way in the northwest.

Well my headlamps were shipped officially yesterday to @eledobleu and just a moment ago I sent the PayPal payment, so that project is officially in the works in progress, in transit... now to wait and begin planning the next PROject.
I will be doing the interior and third brake lights to LED shortly, and then it's focus attention on a BAMF bed rack system for the Tepui RTT that I've been salivating for.
I used to think I liked my money, but apparently I just want to get rid of it all... :bananadead:

Well UPS approved the claim, taking fault for the damage. Luckily it was only to one of them. Soon as he gets it back he's going to fix up a new one and send them back out. Let's hope with better results! Nothing like having the finished product in hand and can't install them.

Yeah, it just depends on how many he probably has before you that have paid. He told me originally it was going to be a couple weeks, then had them done the same week. But I know he has a lot of guys buying these right now.

When your wife tells you to order step bars so she can get in and out of the truck easier, god dammit, you order step bars!! So I did. Should be here Tuesday. Go Rhino Dominators. Anybody got em? Likes/dislikes? Probably should have asked the question first, I guess.

I got a good chuckle on how you admit after the asking that it should have been what you did first.

If it was your gut telling you to do it, then you made the right choice!

Yeah, he just received my OEM's yesterday and confirmed he will be started on them next week. He said with the way I packed them that I should expect no issues when they get back to me. Hopefully that will be by the end of the following week.

Absolutely, pics for sure. But no, I did do SOME research before I bought. I didn't close my eyes and point at the screen and order what my finger landed on. Haha. It was gonna be those or Nfabs. I read the Go Rhinos quality seemed a bit better. Price was right so.......we'll see.
