Platinum steering wheels are really nice. I love the way mine feels. All leather and it just had a great feel.

I had bilstein 6112s and 5160s (2018 CM w/ TRD offroad pkg) installed a couple of weeks ago and after 500 miles I can say I am thoroughly impressed with the ride and performance. Next will be wheels and tires.

I foolishly backed into a tree with the tailgate down. Body shop quoted over $600 to fix and repaint. Paint wasn’t cracked so with some careful pulling and unbending of the hinge, it’s back to normal and the paint didn’t crack when unbending.

Not today, but yesterday I installed the tech 12 volts remote starter, 100% plug and play works perfect on my 2017 'G' key, no glass break sensor truck version.

Also put a new receiver lock (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GB17XD7/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) on after my last Masterlock needed to be cut off. The tumblrs just locked up and wouldn't move, soaked it for a few days and even went to a locksmith, which ended up cutting it off. He recommended Tri-flow on the new one. Went to Fleet Farm to get a can and soaked it, plan on doing it every couple weeks from now on. To be fair the last one I never soaked or took it off during last winter...

I would have recommended the BOLT lock. I’m sure everyone has a preference, but it works with your ignition key.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm not partial to anything, I actually did a lot of looking before this one and it was honestly hard to find one that had a lot of good reviews, I would have thought it would have been easy to find a good one... I don't necessarily like the lock cover on this Motormic, it seems really flimsy, I was going to see if I could source a tighter-fitting one on McMaster.

I'm not sure if the 'round' type keys are safer than regular keys, but I don't mind that, plus I liked that it was full black and had the O-rings to take up unwanted slack. I really only use it so no one steals my receiver cover, but I'd use it for it's actual use whenever I'd actually hook something up.

Did a couple of simple mods today that really made my truck look so much better.

#1. thank you @JonSVSB for the Go Rhino RB20s. They’re awesome. The transaction was super easy.

#2. Amazon smoked tail lites that took 10 mins to swap out and look amazing.

Next step is to do something with that chrome!!! Either Plasti dip, vinyl, or a total swap out.

Cleaned MAF and TB and conditioned leather. Surprising how much carbon was in TB with only 38k miles.

Looks great! I would suggest getting the color matched OEM bumper covers.

Took off some Coachbuilder +1's for some +2s. I think these trucks look good with a little rake: 1.9" 6112 up front and 1.25 in the rear. Also got the carrier bearing drop spacers in. IMG_4247.jpg
