So, my wife and I went to Afton Mtn VA to do some hawk watching. It's migration time and you can see thousands of species if you're lucky. It was overcast, we didn't see a single hawk, but we did see a Black Bear. Here's the cool part..
The next thing we know, over 40 Dodge Challengers had a meet up where we were parked. Not really a Dodge fan, but I do love Challengers. They saw my truck and invited me to tag along on a trek up the Skyline Drive into Shenandoah National Park. I was the caboose so to speak, and brought up the rear. Met some great people, saw some really awesome Challengers, and had a great time. Wasn't the getaway my wife and I planned. It was better! My wife and I love skyline drive and camping in Shenandoah; Doing that sure beats watching the redskins. I am not sure why I put myself through the torture anymore......

Very nice opportunity on the tagalong.

Just think about old Stonewall Jackson leading Yankee armies up and down those mountains on horses, mules, and human feet while dragging everything they needed to eat and fight, and burning his bridges behind him. It was fun for everyone until he decided to let them "catch" him. :D
