    20x12 -44 offset on 35s
    how hard would it be for swap my 3.4 out for a 4.7 and will it mount up to the 2wd trans???

    likely not the easiest undertaking. best bet would be a donor truck (ideally newer with VVTI). but the motor mount perches on the frame may also be different. but not sure

    They use the same trans, look at the motor mounts. Honestly though, compare the cost of a good condition donor engine to the cost of just upgrading trucks

    I thought they used the same trans as well. But the weird thing is the auto trans on a boosted 3.4 is the weakest link without proper upgrades. However the 4.7 has a little less HP than a supercharged 3.4 but about 40 more ft•lbs of torque.aybe the tundra has a different bell housing and larger trans cooler.

    Good chance the tundra a340 is a little more beefed up internally.

    Would make sense and maybe worth looking into for anyone with supercharged 3.4 taco with auto trans

    For a 03-04 taco yes. Older with the kick down cable may be able with a valve body swap. But I’ll have to do some digging.
