    Semper Fi to all my fellow brothers and sisters out there. I'm the proud and beaming father of a new Marine! He earned his EGA yesterday and got to call me today. Oorah! It's an amazing feeling being a father who has a son who is now a brother too--no, not WV style--but a brother-in-arms. It's crazy how much he has grown in such a short time. Can't believe I have an 18 yr old who actually said, "Dad, you've been right about everything." I'll just leave it at that! I get him home for 10 days and then he's off to SOI and the Recon school.

    Oh, and I'd like to give a shout out to all other active duty/veterans from all other branches.
