I don’t know shit about lifts, but his looks like what I have, and I haven’t had any issues. Looks like his tires are bigger though.

Ask the dealer to bring it to a reputable lift shop there in Phoenix and have them go though it. There is probably someone here who can give a good recommendation. What I am assuming, is that you paid a bit extra to purchase the truck with the lift, which in my mind, makes the dealer on the hook. I know there are a lot of people suggesting better lifts, but before you just burn all that money you spent extra on the truck, then throw more money at it...make the dealer do their work. Yes, it can be a lemon, but what I would venture to guess is Toyota would have the lift removed and then see if the issue is still there before buying it back.

Yes they do, And I'm sure the lift they installed was not free either.
Once you get it figured out and it turns out to be the lift, take it back to the dealer, ask for the lift to be removed and issue you a credit for the lift because they installed it and cannot get it right.
Also, if it does turn out to be the lift and don't want to make it right, call Toyota and let them know the dealer is installing mods that do not work. (I bet the dealer gets a call on that one)
Keep all the documents of before's and after's.

I would get a local consumer report from a tv station involved the last thing they want is bad publicity then after fixed is get another dealership to do warranties and maintenance.

I say @sdhq_offroad just shows up looking like a gang from Mad Max and circles the dealership until this is resolved.

The truck pulling to the right will be able to be fixed. It’s also good you recognize you tend to jump to conclusions, I’d work on that and worry about the truck less since it is just a mechanical problem.

I don’t get how you even drove off the lot with it in the first place. Test drives are free. You probably should have done that before signing your name on a loan.

Either way, your issue is completely correctable and not a lemon.

Yeah I still have the laminated sheet that came with all the stuff the dealer put into it. The lift was 7k. Or so I was charged...

    Oh man 7k.....

Do yourself a favor and lookup spacer lift for Tundras. Now we know why people call them stealerships.

The damage has been done now so just have to see if the dealer or an independent shop can. I think at this time maybe the dealer should pay for alignment if they can not get it right.

As a fellow Cavalry Blue owner here in AZ, welcome!

As for the lemon thing. It’s not. Your truck is fine. It’s the shitty lift they put on it. I believe 4wheelparts does all the lifts for the Phoenix area dealerships. As mentioned earlier, they don’t give a rats ass on quality. They fulfill an order and move in to the next one. If it were me, I’d take the truck back if your still in that grace period and get another truck. Then you can mod it the way you like for what you need it to do. And for a fraction of that 7k. Hell, you can get a freakin TRD pro for probably what you paid.

I’m taking it down to an off-road alignment shop today to get a second opinion and hopefully go back to the dealership tomorrow and tell them where they screwed me over and hopefully fix it. I really don’t want to give this truck up without a fight. She needs a chance

Tell them to take the lift off and put it back to stock and give you your 7K back. For 7K you can get really bad ass lift. Or just pay much much less for the same type.

Lets be fair, 7k probably included the wheels and tires. So they only had a little over 5k in profit

That's right, man! Fight! Fight! It's a great looking Tundra. I 120% agree that your caster is maxed with that lift and you will probably need new UCAs to effectively align it. Best of luck!

You’re right. The wheels and tires are worth some good money. But the spacer is not. The truck looks awesome! But for 7K it should have some kings on it with resi’s and clickers LOL. The presentation is beautiful but they slip one past the customer now and again who doesn’t know what they’re looking at.

I can imagine walking the lot and seeing the truck that sits the tallest with the biggest tires, thinking I definitely want that one! Not realizing that it’s only some spacers. I myself am guilty of almost doing the same thing. Probably about 15 years ago I was looking at some lifted Silverado‘s. Luckily I had a friend with me who didn’t have stars in his eyes. He said dude it’s just a spacer. Looking further it wasn’t even 4 x 4! Huge mark up though. From a buyer‘s perspective it looks like you won’t even have to do anything and you can roll the whole look that you want into the loan. Someone like me is probably going to give them a huge chunk of their savings as a down payment so they don’t have to pay for aftermarket parts after the fact. But obviously that’s not the best deal.

Sad thing is on my uncles truck that we just upgraded from his 2011 he went to the 2019 Calvary blue and we installed 6112s and 5160 with coach builder +3 shackles with 285 65 18 Nitto G2s and powder coated stock wheels we only spent 2700.00

Exactly. I had to be patient, and a few have still considered my truck stock LOL. But I’ve got takeoff TRD pro suspension and +2 shackles. Also the suspension came with four shims from coach builder that I can install if I want a little more. Altogether I’m just under $1300. So I’ve basically got a 2/1 lift with piggyback reservoir shocks. And I can easily make it a 3/1 with just a little work and an alignment. But I will probably wait to get UCA’s and do that at the same time. I may eventually get some adjustable shackles and sell the CB’s and add a add a leaf or custom leaf pack. And still be under 2500. New bigger tires will cost more but I’m waiting till these wear out, so that’s got to happen no matter what.

Why would you need UCAS? Your not getting 3" from your 6112's, unless you have thrown on some shims. Just curious

Yes you did unfortunately. It's amazing what they charge for a rather cheap lift. A somewhat local Toyota dealer had 2 Tundras on lot that were lifted . One had a 4" and the other 6" 8k for the 4, and 10 k for the 6. They were both Pro Comp lifts. Ridiculous!
