I have done some crazy things for my wife. I made her a card one day to tell her I'm Batman.

Aw dude. Now I have to go wash my brain and optical nerves out with bleach.

Scary thing is, I don't know if that's on the same level as two girls one cup....

Dammit, now I need to bleach my long term memory.....

I decided what I'm doing...and I already told the wife because I thought it would require her input, but, she's put it back on me. She's been talking about how good vinyl wrapped cars look. So, I made some calls and got a quote. I'm having her car wrapped. Problem is, she likes both matte black and matte charcoal and she told me to decide. Crap! So, I'm turning to you guys. What do you think? Matte black or matte charcoal? I can't decide which would look better with the wheels. Here's a couple of pics of her car.

Either will look FN awesome, but I would go closer to the current color so the unwrapped areas will be less noticeable. I wish I could afford to wrap my truck. :(

@joonbug the wrap isn't as expensive as I thought it would be. I'm going to ask them about my truck, just so I know if i decide to wrap it in the future. The car is $2.5K

I think either will look great. I love black but I think matte Charcoal is the best looking matte color out. Like previously mentioned, I also think it would be good because the color contrast in exposed areas won't be as big as with the black.

It may hide dirt better than black as well.

Which color do you think would go better with the wheels?

Either way is a win-win. Please post up pics of the finished product!

This is the color the guy sent me that I'm leaning towards. I think this color would match the wheels best as the wheels are a lighter charcoal color. Only problem is, it looks very similar to the factory paint, so other than the matte finish, I'm not getting that "wow" effect. But, it is the wife's daily driver and what she likes is what counts, even though she making me decide.

Make sure ask the installer if he is also wrapping the inside of the door jambs or if that's extra. Most vinyl installers charge extra if you want this done. Also ask what brand of vinyl they use and what the warranty against fading is.
