Some newer super white/ pearl white Tundras are experiencing paint quality issues and getting "corrected" by Toyota under warranty.

Welcome, hopefully you didn't buy a white one, as I doubt the 1794 come in white LOL! Anyways, yeah there's some "problems" - probably just not as many. Yes, Toyota is NOT PROBLEM free, I can guarantee you that. My trucks' been at the shop couple times for QC issues that shouldn't have existed on a TOYOTA esp with their QC standards (probably failed QA first before QC - I know I work in the QA world). The same QC process as what Lexus uses - supposedly.

Welcome from Southern California. I gave up on Fords back in 1993. I tried, but I didn't like the lack of quality and reliability of the Ford I bought.

More like so slow the paint is removing itself and relocating to a much faster picket fence........

Thanks everyone appreciate it. I’m in San Antonio, bought it right down the road from the Tundra plant. I def like this motor so far, zero turbo lag the power is instant. Figuring out the Entune and how to work all the stuff. I LOVE this truck so far!!!!

Ford is the reason my last 3 trucks have been Toyotas. Specifically my 2001 5.4. Biggest piece of crap ever made. I can understand a Monday truck or 2 but that truck was poorly engineered from the roof panel to the motor to the suspension.

    Not nearly enough room here!
Did you replace your Ford's BRAKES with OEM or aftermarket?

I did Goodyear’s brakes and rotors, after the 3rd set in like 6 months (warranty) I took it to Ford and had OEM put on. That solved everything. Ford seems to to do best with OEM everything.

I hear ya I had an 05 Expedition with the 5.4. It ate coils like no tomorrow, and I was constantly fixing stuff on that vehicle. Motor finally failed at 160K. 5.4 was the crappiest motor I’ve ever owned.

Hopefully the Tundra works out better than the F-150. I have 220k on mine with a supercharger and the only issue I've ever had is the starter went out at 210k.

Well add me to the list . Had numerous Toyota’s before Tundra & Tacoma and don’t forget the Deluxe. Back in 2015 someone hit my Tacoma BAD . Had a rental (F150) liked it at the time . Fast forward, I have never owned a BIGGER piece of junk !! List is too long to recite!!
I can’t wait to remove from my driveway. Just purchased a 2019 Crewmax Limited. Never even took for a test drive .
