You guys are killing me, I’m only on page 250, I haven’t even made my first payment on the truck and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

    https://mattgeckoleds.com/shop?olsPage=products/toyota-tundra-led-bed-light-kit-with-bed-mounted-switch

Install is pretty straight forward, it’s a pita to have to run the wire the length of the truck and I’m so anal I’m put zip ties ever 6 inches.

I was able to use an existing hole in the bed for the switch so one less hole to drill ( didn’t have that size anyways lol)

Doing this first thing is a good idea, the truck is so clean underneath it was kind of cool seeing everything. Would off sucked if it was all dirty..

    The lights really pop!

Anyways great thread thanks to all the contributors!

    Onward!

I’m assuming he means the tow/haul button. And yes it’s fun to use when not towing.

    The mods continue...

Locking fuel cap, need to adjust the left side the outer ring is not flush. The screws on that side do not “tighten” (not stripped) they are snug but something is wrong any tips?

Center console safe/divider, need to mount my holster.

I also installed a wireless charger underneath the lid of the console per the DIY write ups

Some material came in for the power fold mirrors. I want this done ASAP but I don’t want to do it still reading up and watching videos, particularly that one with the audio installer removing the door panel (she’s pretty cute, I’m feeling like a dirty old man .

They’ll be a steady stream coming in for the next week or so .

Tomorrow no rain in the forecast so I prepped the bike for the commute into work The Tundra gets a day of rest in the garage

You know I like the look of the chrome rings but my god they are blinding. One wonders if they ever actually tested this stuff out in a real life situation.

Am I the only person that is not blinded by the chrome rings?

On my mazdaspeed3 the scuff guards on the door sills were chrome and would blind me from time to time. but not these vent rings.

In my case it’s mostly the cup holder rings but those damned vent rings catch me when the sun is low and I turn. I’m going to end up in a telephone pole because I’m too lazy to paint them.

The vent rings don't blind me either. Now the cup holder surround, that's a different story.

haha yea I was thinking that as I posted it. Had the truck since March , still have my vision.

My truck doesn't have those cupholders so maybe that helps.

The late night crew has really derailed the hell out of some threads tonight. People are going to wake up in the morning and be really confused.

    Carry on.

I’m more of a hood than a tailgate kind of guy but there’s certainly nice scenery everywhere I have been. Seems to be more bare paint in Hawaii than the PNW that’s for sure. Lots more vinyl wraps and laminex up there. I guess the temperature gradients will do that.
