OMG! I would be happy getting ammo for Christmas. So, I completely understand that. What I should have said is I would be fine with dinner and then a gift card for a 2 hour massage or something like that. OR if there are kids involved, at the dinner you take her to, you can give her a card with a "coupon" in it (good for one year) for a babysitter for New Years eve or any day where it is only the two of you. OR you can buy or make a "love booklet" that has coupons in it with things that you can do to and for each other. She will be able to choose when and where each event takes place. So, with those ideas you are spending on dinner and you can make your own coupon booklet. For us women, to know that you took the time to do that? She would love it; if she isn't conservative in that "category."

OMG! Maybe that's why I'm single :annoyed: I'm trying to get him to take it to the next level. She will appreciate it.

A few ideas I've done for my wife that she loved. Women love anything you took time to plan & show them their special.
    1. Make reservation for a nice romantic dinner. Make sure and drop off flowers prior to your dinner reservations and you can also have a special gift like jewelry stored at the restaurant with the manager. I surprised my wife one year and she was very impressed that I took the time to plan this all out.
    2. Set up a day at the spa for your wife and her best friend. Her friend will be your biggest fan and sing your praises while they both get pampered.
    3. Nake notes over the year when she mentions things she wants.
    4. Plan a special get away trip for the both of you. Shedule a plan for the kids ahead of time so she knows you planned for everything.
    5. Buy a year membership to glossy box or birch box. They send out a box once a month with a bunch of women related stuff.
I hope that helps with ideas.

Last year I bought my wife a 6 month subscription service of wine. Every month they delivered 2 random, but nice wine bottles to the house.

Year before that- all that Michael Kors (MK)? Crapola

Hell yeah, I would love that too! Minus the purse thing. Not a purse carrying type of gal. Shit goes in the pockets, just in case.

Wow driverdog! Gotta say you are so right! It's not what we get, it's what you did to get it. I wouldn't care if it was the half-chipped purple and black gumball I said I wanted weeks ago. To know that my significant other remembered that and got it for me???? PRICELESS

Our anniversary, Christmas and my wife's birthday all fall during the same time. I'm going to have a huge hole in my wallet. Wait... that's every year. I'm screwed.

For mine and my wife's 8 year anniversary, got her a spa day, dinner at her favorite steakhouse, a dozen roses delivered to her work at lunch and tulips waiting for her at home (her favorite), and an envelope listing 416 things I loved about her (one for every week I've been with her) (days were WAY too much!) LOL

I find my wife prefers things that come from the heart than material things (those she always gets for herself LOL)

The most important thing to remember is it's NOT "the thought that counts"!
That cliche is a lie. The only thing that counts is what we do. Do what she wants, get what she cares about, put her ahead of you and whatever it is she will love you for it.
