Hi Fellas. I really need help with this and my dealer cannot give me an answer . I have a 2019 Tundra and I would like to change the front Grille. I found a used one that used to be on a 2017 Platinum. I wil be painting to match of course. However, in my truck, I have the center sensor and on the 2017 Platinum grille it only has the Toyota emblem. Can I use my center sensor on the 2017 Grille? Here are the photos of my truck and the grille that I'm looking at buying.

@Willskaf you will have to relocate the sensor for that grill to work.

@Yota707. What do you mean ? The only place will be the center where the emblem is. I'm wondering if the 2017 non/sensor emblem can be replaced with my sensor-ed emblem?

The emblem on the platinum grille is smaller then your ‘19 grille so the flush mounting surface would be less.
I personally would take the grille off the truck see how the sensor mounts up and see what modification you would need to do to the other grille. But know that any modding could mess up the sensor and if anything were to happen it would be on you as far as the sensor not working properly.
In short it’s not going to be a direct fit and most likely won’t work without cutting, drilling and glue’n.
    Good luck.

You can use relocation brackets to mount the radar sensor to the center radiator support bracket instead of mounting it to the grill. I have tried 3 different brackets and eventually went to the 2019 TRD Pro grill instead. You can see my details in my build thread. Also search for the forums for ‘relocation’ and you’ll find a bunch of info.

    I got it from Sparks.
...a bit pricey but I was tired of the PCS / radar sensor problems due to the relocation brackets.

I’ll be selling my 2015 Pro grill eventually if you want that style.

Adam, I'm assuming you don't have a sensor?

I do have the radar sensor now. Just got a 2020 Limited. Does the TSS sensor off the limited fit into the Pro Grille? Or do you need that garnish and a mount behind the grille?

Oh snap! I must have missed the posts about your new truck. Congrats!

Yes the TSS radar sensor fits right on the Pro grill. The grill does not come with the garnish / sensor cover and it’s expensive if you’re getting it OEM, which I did because I don’t want the dealer trying to claim it’s causing problems.

So it fits into the rectangular spot? Do you still need that garnish over it?

Yes it fits into that rectangular spot on the inside of the grill. Then the garnish / cover piece will go in the rectangular open on on the outside of the grill.
