iPhone Messaging in Tundra

    Need a little help. Just got an iPhone XR and my messages don't come through on my radio in my '18 Ltd CM. They worked just fine on my old 6Plus that I had previous. I noticed a message that said I needed to download something pop up, but it was during driving and don't remember what the message said and it isn't coming up anymore. When I go to the messages app it says it is waiting on my phone, shows iPhone/entune but doesn't have any selection options. My phone works fine but not the text messages. Any help would be appreciated before I try the dealer.
