You guys experienced the magic of San G.

stars at night, blue sky’s in the morning, and good friends everywhere.

This weekend, I got up at 6am both days and waved to everyone that passed by my campsite. Yeah I was right next to the restroom so I chatted with everyone on the right side of the campground. I made coffee and sat in my chair. I got so see a bunch of friends it was great.

It’s hard to explain the magic I’m glad you guys got the opportunity to experience it first hand.

@Pinay ... Looking at this map, it appears that you did the harder part of White Mountain this time. If so, how did it compare to what we did last time?

Yeah, not up yet. But some cool pics. A few guys did Holcomb Creek, awesome!

I’m laughing: you guys notice this is a Taco event, their TW thread started well in advance of ours, the event was 10x more TW participants than Tundras, and theirs has 10 pages, ours has 21....

Actually that’s @TheFreshMouse ’s Gaia record, they did the harder loop at 3n11, where they went left up the hill and I went right and headed back to Big Pine Flats like we did last time.

Ah... ok. When I saw this post, it made it seem like Monet was leading on the route pictured which I assumed included the "hard part".

It was awesome! Yes we went up. The last hardf portion was very rocky! I kissed my sliders a few times and exhaust pipes a few times.

I had both my sway bars off and I seemed to be not slipping as much as with the sway bars. Somebody said that the trail was the rockiest they have ever seen. There were pinstripe sections and I seem to have gotten the worst of it but seems like they could be avoided for the most part.

The trail was secluded and beautiful. It was spicy and steep but the Tundra was more than capable for this terrain.

we aired down before hand (22 in the front and 20 in the rear). This truck climbs so damn well. I would say anyone afraid of pinstripes or banging the undersides should cut off early and take the easier way down. There is also rock obstacles that were close to the body panels but are avoidable by going slow with a spotter.

I highly recomend, it was very exciting and the views are amazing. Hope this helps!!
