I know it’s stressful and I just want you to know that we are all grateful. Next time I’d like to sit down and have a couple beers with you. I hope we can have a bigger turnout next year. Even though this year was amazing. If it gets much bigger we may have to spill into another campground. Although organizing a group photo would be even that much more hectic.

    Anyone reading this please keep in mind for next year. If you haven’t already came it’s worth checking out. You don’t even have to go on a trail run. Just hanging out in the evenings is worth it. There is any type of trail you can think of. Wild to very very mild and family-friendly. And as always we stress to tread lightly and stay on the trail.

    We stayed late to take a walk through the woods and I chatted up the camp host before we left (I knew there were a couple of missteps along the way, and we all hope to be invited back). He was effusive: said this was the BEST weekend he’s had all year, he was totally impressed with the entire lot of us (he said the couple of tiny snags we had were very few compared to a normal weekends, and we were all quick to adapt when he asked for changes). He also commented that the campground was cleaner than ever, after everyone left out.

    So good on you for running such an awesome event, and doing it the Right Way. I’m very proud to be associated with y’all. Ain’t no Heep squad! :cool:
