I am going to be installing brand new TRD sport suspension on my 2015 platinum soon. I got the coil overs, and rear shocks today for a steal.
My question is what do these markings on the coils mean? I assume these are side specific, but I don't know which side each one goes on. Could you sport owners take a look at your from coils and let me know what markings you have. Passenger vs drivers side.
These arent marked any other way other than the word "out" and an arrow on the top plate, which I assume can't be seen once installed.

Thank you. This is super helpful. I assume it will be the same across the board too. I am pumped to get these on. They looks much beefier and higher quality that the Tokico or whatever is on there now. I know they won't lower or lift my truck but they sure look good and people seem to enjoy the ride quality.
I have the TRD sway bars already so this suspension will be a nice addition, plus I'd be willing to bet that with 40k miles my original suspension is starting to get tired.

Blue/red drivers side, yellow/grey passenger side. I've personally installed them on the wrong side before and it's about a 1/2" difference.

Look at the part numbers - they should list "FR"/"FL" or something along those lines for front right and left.

Edit: that may just be on the Pro suspension, but throwing it out there anyway.

Thanks so much. I remember from my experience with Tacoma suspension, that the coils were always side specific. I figured maybe Tundra too, and I am sure glad I asked now that i know it makes a difference.
    Thanks man, good idea.

Thanks Sean! I may take you up on that if I run into issues. My biggest issue will likely be rusted nuts and bolts. I use fluid film and already pre sprayed everything but new England winters are relentless on vehicles

Echo what others have said, curious to hear your impressions. They definitely look better than the basics!

I'm gonna try to get them installed within a few days so I will report back. I just went out and sprayed all the nuts and bolts again with PB blaster, and I'll do them again the night before I swap everything over. I'm excited to see if the ride changes at all
