@BlueRibbon4x4, how bright are the white strips? As in color temp 5000, 6000k. Thsnks

I’m unsure. These look blue now because of the blue paint surrounding them. I have 5500 hids in, and they’re about the same color.

 

I'm not local but if you end up doing retrofits I'd be a customer for sure.

Absolutely gorgeous. You are a very patient and talented man. These are some of the best looking retros I have seen. If they work half as good as they look, you're gonna have people beating down your door wanting to give you money, and lots of it. I know the time and energy you put into these, so idk if you'd wanna do more sets to sell, but I can guarantee you'd do well for yourself. A good retrofit guy is hard to come by, especially on this website

Those look so good, I bet the output blows away OEM LED and those alpha rex or morimotos. I hope you make some money off doing this. You deserve it, and your work should sell itself. Getting into retrofitting the 18+ LED headlights would be interesting and rare.

 

Interesting, rare, and freaking scary! The output is killer. I had leds in my oem halogen housings. They were good, but these are so crisp. I highly recommend them. I do believe they can be done by anyone with patience and not afraid of a little trial and error.

Wheels have been spinning for months about the tail lights.
I've eyeballed the Anzo's for over a year, but the more I think about buying them, my DIY mind kicks in and tells me to do something unique.

I've got the '19 Pro LED HL's and love them, but I've been debating about retro'ing my stock units. After see all this work...this is now on my to do list!

Thanks man! I took DM Motos and color matched them, then red wrapped the white led tubes. Those anzos would look badass like that, I think. Those ‘19 pro lights are so killer. Would you be able to color match those in certain spots?

 

Oh right. I got all the projector stuff including harness at theretrofitsource.com.

How is the light output on the reverse lights once the housing are painted?

I'm sure 19 pros could be color matched, but they're not old enough for me to dare to break into them. Plus, I have the black ones, which I think look pretty good with the MGM.

The DM motos housings came all black, so blue didn’t matter. Light output didn’t seem to differ much from stock. But I put some pods in my bumper. They’re like reverse headlights. I freakin love em.

They’re in and ready! Had an issue with wiring. Did the DRL delete I found on here. Everything works great now! I freakin love these things.
