Do these come with a plug and play headlight motor in them? Or do you have to move the oem ones over?

The 18+ sequoia LED headlights do not have headlight leveling motors and there is no space to swap them over.

Install and use the Manuel adjuster bolt/wheel for minor adjustments and alignments. Set it and forget it

for the 14+ tundras the only ones I've seen that come with motors pre-installed are the morimoto xb and the alpharex pro/novas. apart from those i don't think i have seen others include them

I have those. They are no brighter than stock, but look nice. Be sure to reseal the seams all around them, or they will likely fill with water. I didn't reseal mine and eventually had to dump about 2 cups of water out of one side. I used GOOP 160012 Automotive Adhesive, on the outside around the seam. It went on very easily and so far has worked great.
I also replaced the bulbs (which will die in about a month) with PIAA bulbs, which throws more light.
aiming them is a pain, do it before you bolt everything back together, or you will be unbolting everything to do it.

Thanks for providing feedback about the Alpharex lights... OEMs are sounding better and better every time I read stuff like that.

I personally think OEMs are better. The Spyder projector style doesn't throw enough light. They were frankly very dim and unsafe and had to use my BD Squadrons as backup anytime I drove at night. I could NOT get them leveled high enough either. In a word, they SUCKED. I ended up ditching them for OEM LEDs. MUCH happier.

This tends to be the general consensus. Spyders really aren't very good, I would recommend the OEMs all day long, they are fantastic housings!

Sounds like oem toyota led headlamps are best. I haven't heard of those leaking, moisture, or anything else bad. And well they should have leveling motors.

ok i like the looks of the Alpharex (smokie look) but want to keep the leaving option any suggestions for my 2011 for an oem led that would let me keep the leaving option but not be the silvery clear look of my stock lights and give me bit more light the stock ones are very bad.

How did you get the code? It’s expired and I’m interested in getting a set.
