Hello, so I just bought a 2013 Tundra (its a flex fuel 4x4). I was thinking of putting a cold air intake on it. Either a K & N or a TRD. Has anyone done this and if so what are the pros (gas efficiency, power and sound. Also what are the cons (engine trouble and such) Would love some feedback thanks!

Spend your money on other things. Sound is biggest difference.

If a different intake would get more mpg, toyota would have made it so

TRD sway bar...addictive audio sub woofer.....Volant intake.....Black Rhino Glamis wheels....Billstein adjustable shocks
Not worth the money better off doing .....SABM.....and throttle body by pass and those are better than intake....or I can sell you my volant intake......throttle body by pass not recommended if it gets below 10 degrees where you are from

I reccommend the S&B intake as well. I had the sabm it was good for what it was but the S&B was so much better has alot more midrange and mpg went up 1 from sabm. If your on a budget definitely SABM but if your willing to spend alittle more than the s&b is the way to go...

Anything you do to the stock airbox will drop your low end torque. Even using a better breathing filter rather than the stock air filter. Sorry.

That s&b intake looked pretty good, but Im not to convinced it's worth the money.

Want more hp, tq and mpgs? Get the OV Tune. Or headers. Or both!
